I've been to Ranger Games, concerts and even the Circus here, and always had a great time and never had any issues with anything.
Parking is not a good idea. Take public transport and save yourself the trouble. But do take advantage of all the events that are offered here.
The staff has always been helpful, something that you can not say of many places in NYC. The seating, the stage setups, the acoustics are always well worked out and never a disappointment. Even got a puck from a Rangers Game one time, and every event has been memorable for me.
Check out who's going to be at MSG and get yerself some tickets and enjoy. Well worth it.
