This museum isn't the best art museum in houston but it's a museum. It doesn't get too crowded here and admission isn't too bad. It's located near Richmond. The staff is very quiet and they are a bit strict. The menil offers lots of beautiful paintings you wont find anywhere else. Great to go on a good day.

A conservative exterior belies the hotel's chic appeal, but the swanky lobby offers a preview of what to expect from stylish rooms. Recorded jazz fills the entryway, and postmodern furniture (with Lone Star leanings), artwork and a video fireplace decorate the area. Adding to the upscale atmosphere is adjacent Ling & Javier's, which offers an unusual fusion of Chinese and Cuban cuisines. Illuminated pieces of artwork represent each floor--the 11th floor features a large photograph of a pair of dice showing five and six. Rooms all come with Internet access and web TV. Standard rooms feature hip furniture, like a small love seat resting against the window for a view of the Galleria area. When it's time to turn in, you'll be greeted by cozy down comforters and pillows. Suites and studios double the luxury with glass conference tables, skylights over wet bars and terraces that provide city vistas.

Constructed in 1925, this genteel hotel includes an Aubusson tapestry from the 1700s and 19th-century wood panels from a French chateau. A renovation added modern flair yet preserved its classic beauty. The Warwick also boasts awe-inspiring views, comparable to anything you'll find in Paris. The view of the downtown skyline to the north and verdant Hermann Park to the south is stupendous. There are 308 rooms, of which 74 are suites, mostly appointed in Old-World style, with 24-hour room service. The hotel is within walking distance of Houston's top museums and the shady, tree-lined streets of Rice University. Nearby Hermann Park has jogging trails, a golf course and the Miller Outdoor Theater, which sponsors free weekend performances in the summer.

I first came to the Hyatt downtown during my senior prom way back in '79. My date took me to Spindletop...WOW! I thought that was the coolest restaurant I had ever seen. I decided to bring my husband to Spindletop to see how it had changed. It was superb. We enjoyed a fabulous candlelit dinner and watched the buildings and cars below go by. It was just as I remembered it only updated with a much better menu.
The funny thing was seeing at least five other couples experiencing their prom night there too!

My family and i stayed there while moving from Florida to Houston, and we had our Lab, abby with us. We had to find somewhere to stay that would accomidate pets because of this, so we stayed at the red roof inn. The hotel was of course not the nicest i have ever stayed at, but it was a good nights rest after a long day in the car. We had very easy access to the freeway, so we could go across and catch a movie at the theater, or a bite to eat, and we were able to go to our new home and check it out before we moved in.

i have had several special events at the Lovett Inn and I have always been glad that I did. The staff prepared the spaces just as requested. The deliveries were easy to coordinate- and the rooms were not too small- even better- they were not too big for my intimate gatherings.
Clean, easy to find and a Houston classic!

With Royal Travel your trip becomes a hassle. I know Because mine did. I bought 3 tickets to Dubai. The service was poor and it took him forever to get me the tickets. On top of that, when I got to the airport the tickets weren't confirmed and I had to wait 1 hr for them to sort the problem out. By then the flight had left and we had to wait 5 hours for the next plane. The traveling became such a hassle. I do NOT recommend using this travel agency.

I purchased tickets for a flight to Hawaii and was even able to sign my 5 yr old up for frequent flyer miles. I was completly impressed! I can't believe that they let me do this. Now.. I have almost 8000 miles on his account that I am going to give my mom so she can get a free flight! I think everyone should do this!!
