Once I was seeted to have a tooth removed I ended up waiting fo an hour and a half while breathing in Nitrus Oxide for the pain and come to find out the Dr. was on the phone and left me sitting there all that time. The nurse called him 3 times to tell him I was waiting.. the last time he wouldnt answer her. He comes in to see me then leaves again.. I was there for 3 hours to have a tooth pulled. The pain after was tremendous and they offer no pain meds at all. I do feel they are all for the money and not for comfort. No bedside manner at all. Never will I go back!

My husband needed a tooth pulled our normal dentist said an oral surgeon should be handling. An appointment was made with Susquehannal Oral and it was our understanding and our dentists that the tooth would be pulled that day. Our dentist sent the xrays along showing the tooth. We got there any they advised they would only do a consult that day, to have it pulled they were 6 weeks out to schedule this. The fee also after our insurance paid their part was horrible!! This tooth needed extracted immediately. My husband was in extreme pain and it didn't seem to matter at all. They seem to work only on their schedule. Its only a certain day they were able to extract this tooth. We will not go here again. In fact our dentist recently reffered my daughter to an oral surgeon for her wisdom teeth and I told them they shouldn't be recommending this practice.

I needed my wisdom teeth removed and found that this was the only group of participating doctors who were on my insurance policy. I called and was able to see an oral surgeon, but he did not give me the option of having my surgery any day but Tuesday, although when I made the appointment I was told Friday was most common. I asked if I could see another doctor and was told they would not change my doctor, they "prefer" to keep you with the same surgeon. I tried to explain to her that having the surgery on Tuesday was not an option for me, I was being put to sleep and having jaw bone removed, but they were not willing. I found another surgeon in Maryland (Westminster) and had them removed by pulling, it turns out that I did not need to be put to sleep, bone did not need removed, and the 2nd surgeon forewarned me that cutting them out was likely to cause complications because of a nerve that the root was near. I would never again go back to this group, I felt like they were out to make money, not help patients.
