Wolfgang Candy has been a family business in York for as long as I can remember. It is a wonderfully sweet place to work and shop. I worked there for a bit in my 20's and it is meticulously clean and well run. I am now in my 40's and still love their candy. They are well known for their chocolate and yes I love that as well, but my favorite are their jellyeggs as they call them, others call them jellybeans. Wolfgang's are involved in the community and do many fundraisers especially through the local schools.

I had the opportunity to go on a chocolate tour to the wolf gang place, so I thought what fun visiting a chocolate factory! We had to get all ready, no rings, no earings, hair nets.....etc...I thought, wow this is gonna be so exciting. THEN WE MET OUR TOUR GUIDE, WHO STARED AT US LIKE WE WERE BOTHERING HER AS SHE BARKED OUT THE RULES. As if it were a privledge to go in this dump....our tour guide was a young girl, no personality and absolutely no smile....the worst! We navagated through the factory which was like 3 buildings that looked like basement apartments.......wow a chocolate pretzle on a conveyer belt.....that was about the only thing I saw.....at the end we all had to line up to get a small sample of free chocolate...I didn't even want mine....it was not worth it at all....NOW IF YOU WANNA SEE A REAL CHOCOLATEFACTORY VISIT HERSHEY! Friendly clean and yummy.....
