Persnickety is a wonderful little shop. I haven't been there for several years, but they have been in Tollgate Village for well over 15 years. I visited more often when I lived on the east end of town, but can recommend that you stop by. They carry items for the house, and gift items that are a little less main stream. I often see a duplication when you stop at various gift shops, Persnickety's offers items that won't be found at 5 other shops around town. Take part of your day and give yourself some time to look around!

What a charming place to spend an hour! Persnickety has been in business since the 1980's in Olde Tollgate Village Shopping Center. Persnickety carries a lovely variety of gifts, cards and home decor items for every budget and taste. They carry everything from candles to jewelry to kitchen decor. They also offer an custom invitation service. Friendly and helpful staff are always available to assist you. Prices are moderate to high, but the selection offers many unique items to choose from. Plenty of parking!

A wide section of products are available. There is a card and stationary section where you can order personalized invitations. There is another selection of collectibles. There is a small section of men's gifts which features golf items and ties. Another section features gourmet foods such as packaged dips and jellies. A wonderful place to find something for the person who has everything. Gift wrapping is free and is so beautifully done that it is well worth the purchase price!
