Their food is incredible and fresh. I only eat Sushi here. The waitresses could learn some manners. Once we came threw the door at 1:30 for lunch and were told "We close at 2:00". I told them"well you'd better make it fast then". Maybe they didnt want our business but too bad I wanted their Sushi LOL. The waitresses always seem to be kinda rude but to me it's funny and totally worth it. Pros: The Freshest Sushi I've ever had Cons: Waitresses are rude and brash

This is a great little restaurant! I especially love the Katatsu (pork) dish (I am sure I spelled it wrong); that is my usual dish there. I have tried the teriyaki chicken, beef and they were just as good. The sushi selection is great and very good in taste. The staff are extremely friendly and you are greeted with a very loud HELLO and GOOD-BYE.

I read a previous review about the service being bad, and had to post my own review. I've been going to this place for 10 years, and this is probably the best family owned Japanese restaurant in this part of OC. They've been open for like 15 years in Yorba Linda, and in business in OC for 25. I've lived in OC for a long time, and there aren't too many sushi bars that have been open for that long. The fish is always SUPER fresh, way better than that korean-owned japanese junk all over town. The service is normally always friendly and customer oriented, when I go (and no, I'm not Japanese. I'm Irish/German and look totally white). It does get alittle hectic in there when it's a full house though, sometimes it can be alittle slow then. Pros: Super fresh fish, Family-Owned, Reasonably priced Cons: slow service w/ busy

My wife and I have been going to Yoshi's for 4 years now. Part of our decision the last time we moved was how close we would be to Yoshi's. We have tried other sushi restaurants and always come back. To the peson that said the service was bad, it wasn't your race, it's because you ordered sushi at a table. I sat at a table once with a group and it took a long time, but the chefs are trying to squeeze your order in with all the others. The other table my have had a different chef who was not as busy. Sit at the bar and you'll have a good time. Buy the chef in front of you a drink and you'll have a great time. Relax and enjoy the expeience. You'll notice they aren't ignoring you, they're just really busy. Sit back and enjoy. Pros: Fresh Fish, Friendly Staff, Lot's of regulars Cons: Packed on weekends

My table had 6 people and we ordered our food before another table of 5 did, who came in after us, but since they were obviously Japanese and friendly with the owner, they got their sushi first. When we got our food, 3 of my friends were served first and 10 minutes later, the other 3 got served. I had the crunchy roll, which wasn't bad, but the bad service made me lose my appetite. Pros: none Cons: bad service
