Fairmont Private Schools have many campuses. There is Citron, Mable, the Prep, and Edgewood. Citron is for kindergarden grades. Mable is elementary school up to 6th grade. The Fairmont Prep Academy is for 7th grade to high school 12th grade. Edgewood is for all grades I believe and is located near Irvine, California. I attended the Mable campus and the Prep campus. Education is decent... but a bit pricey. I think the Prep costs about $12000 a year.

Yorba Linda Bowl is a fun place for a Saturday Night when you want to let go and knock some pins down. Compared to the other bowling alley in the area (Concorse), Yorba Linda Bowl is the more reasonable place to go. Also, Yorba Linda Bowl has special bowling nights where you can bowl early into the morning. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to have some fun!

Karate for Kids offers training for the entire family - not just the kids. Great for learning self defense (at any age!), respect and discipline (while getting a great workout!). They have two locations in Yorba Linda (one in East Lake Village Center and the other on Imperial in Packinghouse Square). It's not cheap, but it is a great way to get the family to do something together that is good for you.

The Little Gym is a great place to take your little ones. Its like Gymboree class...you sign up for a few months worth of classes, depending on your childs age. My son went to the 2 year old class and we spent an hour letting the kids run around on padded mats, learning to take turns going on a trampoline, dancing, spinning, chasing bubbles, singing and more. The instructor we had was super nice. The only set back is that its very pricey. You have to pay a $50 sign up fee, then a couple hundred dollars for 5 months of classes, one class, one hour per week. They also have karate and gymnastics classes. Go for your first visit for free...just call and schedule it first.

For years we have all heard about the many Calvary Chapel churches all over the place. They are very innovative and offer a more free type of environment for a relaxed Christian learning experience. Finally, many of these great churches are opening up and offering to teach our children. This is just one of the many schools in the southern California area. I highly recommend them. They offer preschool through the eighth grade and all the techers are credentialed. Your children will get a good education along with building strong Christian based beliefs and morals...a winning combination!

I graduated from here about 8 years ago, and remember it being a good school. They had some programs for the advanced kids, such as math and science. The have implemented a uniform since I left, but not much else had changed. There are quite a few middle schools in the area, and this one is as good as all the others.
