Artworks is a nice little art gallery of local artists. But unlike a lot of galleries, it's not just paintings. You'll find handmade jewelry and other trinkets, and even clothing. It's neat seeing the greater variety of they have on display, and there's some really neat pieces. They are fairly pricey, but not bad for an art gallery. Worth a look around, anyway, I think. If you're in the mood for alternative mediums.

The 1st time i went to barneys was in last year summer when i wanted to buy my nephew a new bicycle gift.I was really amazed by the variety they had and the prices were also ok but i rather thought the prices should be a little low.The staff was good and friendly offering all the help you need,They had all the big names cycles in there store.They also told me that do bicycle repairs should you need one.

Aside from carrying the latest bikes, the people there are extremely perosnable. But if you are looking for a cheap, well mande, brand name bike, this is the place to go. I highly recommend it if you need anything bike related, from helmets to bike locks to bike headlights-- they've got it all. i rate them A-, simply because some of their bikes are a tad pricey, but thats expected when buying a bike.

This is a great pool hall for those who actually want to play pool (versus just "hanging out" at a pool hall). This place takes good care of their tables and sticks, and they have waitresses that come around frequently to bring your drinks so you can focus on playing pool. They have enough space between their tables, and good music coming from the jukebox. If I want to play pool in Worcester, this is the only place I go.

First of all, this is candlepin bowling. Which means the small balls and weird straight pins that they don't clean up between throws. They also have bumper play. They have a few rentals, but you should really have your own ball. The prices aren't that bad, though, I bowled for about an hour and paid less than $10. Call ahead in case they have leagues taking up the lanes. I've been to better places, but Colonial isn't bad.

This privately run skate shop offers supplies for mainly skateboarders, but has recently opened up and broadened their snowboard merchandise as well. Offering apparrell for both sports, allowing the athlete to be armed to the teeth in skate or snow gear. The best part about this place is that they have TONS of deals. ALmost every month they put out a new deal-- either 2 for the price of 1, or 3 for the price of 2-- either way you win. This is a good place that will suit all your snowboarding and skateboarding needs. i give it an A.

The EcoTarium is great. They have a ton of animals inside, and do regular, very educational presentations for all ages. Most if not all of their employees are very ecologically conscious, and do a lot of work helping the animals and environment around Worcester. Stop by and see some cute animals and maybe even learn how you can help out. There's a planetarium there, too, and even some nature trails (in Worcester, who would have thought!), and is just an all around wondrous place. Adults are $8, children and seniors are $6. Parking's free.

When you picture a pool hall in your mind, that's pretty much what Elite Billiards looks like. They have lots of tables and keep them all in pretty good shape. There's no drinks, so you'll see everyone from teens to real pool sharks around. A great atmosphere for some fun games of pool, really. Very reasonable prices, too. Highly recommended.

Green Hill Park is a beautiful park complete with some athletic fields, a beautiful memorial to the Vietnam Vets, a playground, petting zoo, and plenty of grassy hills to relax on or to sled on in the winter.
We got married outside at this park right in front of the water fountain within the Vietnam memorial and it was absolutely beautiful. Not only do we have gorgeous pictures to last a lifetime, but a great place to continuously visit to relive the memories!
