I highly recommend this museum for all ages. This museum houses lot of swords, pikes, armor of knights, soldiers mostly dating to the 16th and 17th century. Huge collection of armors are obtained for all over the world.
There is a play area for kids to try on armors and lot of hands on stuff. In short great place for a lazy day.

This armory is mainly an attraction for children under the age of 15, mainly ebcause the tours and captions cater to the younger, adolescent generation moreso than the sophisticated aura that can be seen at most museums-- regardless, the spectacles that can be seen at Higgins are like no other, lots of samurai, european and ancient armors, all of which are amazing to see. I highly recommend this museum to anyone looking for a birthday party for their children, as it is a fun and educational experience for the younger generation

The Higgins Armory museum is in this big (five or six floor) modern building and has just tons of different kinds of suits of armour and weapons from medieval times and others. They put on pageants and sword fights sometimes, too. They say they're the only people around that collect and preserve so much of this stuff, and I believe it looking around. So stop by for a rare opportunity. Prices are low.
