Decent buffets at holidays.
Great atmosphere - located in the top of an old mill building so decent history to look at.
Parking can be tough during the day but easy by night.

A group of us were at Maxwell Silverman's Sunday Brunch and it was beyond our expectations. The building is amazing, the decor appealing and the food outstanding. The service by Ben was exceptional and he was always there with whatever we needed. Table was cleared quickly so never had the look of empty plates. The array of food was beyond expectation and everything was "hot:" if it was supposed to be hot and "cold" if it was intended to be cold. The decor in the room we were in was bright and attractive, the seating was comfortable and everyone in our party of 13 said they would definately be back.
Congratulation to Bill Appleby and his staff for going above and beyond to make this a delicious and memorable experience. Everyone should try the Brunch.
Pros: Ambience, quality of food, excellent service
Cons: none

Maxwell Silverman's Restaurant. Over 30 years in business and it just doesn't get any better in Worcester [or surrounding area] for Fine Food, Great Service from a Great staff, and Week-end Entertainment of Song & Dance. A great DJ playing our favorite songs from the 70's on up with dance floor and Disco Ball and lighting, which I might add there is never a cover charge for. The menu is loaded with everything from appetizers to veal and if you leave this restaurant hungry, it's your own fault. We recently went to celebrate a friends birthday and the Pork Special was incredible! It melted away from the bone and into the mouth, Highly recommend. The Bar area is a wonderful place to meet new people on the week ends and the bartenders are among the most competent and friendly as you'll ever meet. 30 Years in Worcester, they must be doing something right! Want to impress that special date? I'd go to Maxwell's for a great time and when they see the ambiance of this restored old factory building with it's old machinery as part of the decor, it'll be an instant success I'm sure. Simply one of the Best restaurants you'll ever go to.
Pros: Great Food, Music, & Atmosphere at this Restored Old Factory Building
Cons: Haven't found any yet

I went for a rehearsal dinner and I've seen so much confusion in my life. We actually walked up and down 2 floors 3 times before the staff figured out where we were supposed to be. There was one cocktail waitress for 50 people so it took forever to get a drink. The people, especially the bartender downstairs and the host were extremely rude. I coudn't believe because the place seemed so nice. Then to top it off they forgot to charge for the champagne toast so they made the last person there pay 150.00 on his credit card instead of contacting the people who were paying for it all. I would never go back here and I certainly would not have my rehearsal dinner here. You do not need that aggravation the day before you get married.
Pros: nice ambience
Cons: rude staff
