I have known this store for over fifteen years, and the owner is simply the friendliest guy in this type of business. If you want something and he doesn't have it, he can special order it for you, and if it's available he will get it. You can also seat down and have coffee with Roger (the owner) and even exchange ideas on comic books, philosophy, life, role playing games, music, and even food recipes. Roger is simply the friendliest guy in this type of business in all of Worcester city.

Jelly's Discs has a ton of quality music CDs for good prices. Take some old CDs to trade and pick up some new tunes! Sales people more or less know their stuff, too. While you're there, be sure to stop in next door at That's Entertainment and check out their DVDs and games. Both are two of my favorite sources of entertainment and go great together.

With so many video chain stores around, it's nice to see a local video store that still survives. This store has all the movies you'll find at the chains, but it has a couple of perks that you wouldn't get anywhere else...
They have free popcorn to go, and they also give you a $1 credit when you return a movie within one day. I also like that your driver's license is your "rental card" so you have one less thing to carry around in your pocket.

With a storefront just 15 feet wide, don't expect this quirky music store to carry all the albums in the world. Primarily dealing in used CDs, Al-bums has a very eclectic selection. Yes, they usually have the latest albums from the hottest stars. But, also expect them to have random records from 1980s hair bands, and 1970s disco bands. The single store clerk at the front of the store will be happy to help you out and guide you in your search for the perfect gift.
My suggestion: don't go into this store looking for a particular album, or even artist, you are likely to be disappointed. Instead, walk into looking to be surprised, and walk out satisfied.

Housing almost every type of instrument, this place can satisfy most any musician. Their guitars are top of the line, as are most of their other equipment, which is good for some, but bad for others. Selling only top notch instruments does not allow people looking for an introductary instrument to shop there, but for the veterans, it is perfect.
selling only best rate stuff, naturally their prices are going to be high, which is the only visible downside.
