I used to come here all the time and then it just started a downward slide. I heard from a friend they sold it off to some other people that were trying to bring it back up the standards I remember. So i actually gave it another chance, went there on a low key night but they had some great music and a real solid beer selection. I'd encourage you to do the same!
Pros: Big facelift!
Cons: Previous owners dropped the ball

Dive Bar is home to some of the best pizza in Worcester. Beautiful crispy crust, great toppings, and cheap, too! And cheap drinks while you wait (and you usually will have a bit of a longer wait than most, admittedly)! The bartender's great. Definitely give it a try; always animated in there and the best pizza around.

It is a stunningly gorgeous restaurant, with great food and service, and low prices that I have not seen for a Long time, we are from Boston. And this Place Rivals any Fish House in our area.... Wish we came to Worcester more often...

The restaurant is never crowded, situated above the popular bar area. You can get a great meal for short money, then stop down in the bar for the perfect Black and Tan and a great Irish band. They recently renovated the back area to build a game room complete with a big screen TV, couches and dart board. Good times at the Irish Times!

Let me just start off by saying that this restaurant has the absolute best bread and dip. We always joke about how we could go there, order a glass of red wine and just eat the bread! The entres are consistenly good, although the one drawback is that the menu never changes... the specials are always the same! That's about the only thing to complain about, otherwise its a great atmosphere and great food. 9/10.

Regatta's sub sandwiches are among the best in worcester. IN the fast paced, family run kitchen, people are in and out within a matter of minutes. They offer sandwiches to satisfy the italian palate, the greek desire, and most other mediterannean tastes-- and they do so properly. Their sandwiches cna be ordered hot or cold, and either way they rarely mistake orders or mess up the food. They are reliable and very orally pleasing.

The Lucky Dog books all sorts of bands. They used to be mostly rock, but have been getting plenty of alternative and jazz in lately, which is nice. The atmosphere of course varies with the band, but it's a really nice little venue. They have a good variety of drinks, too, and prices for everything are very reasonable. Skip the big bands and support some local musicians!
