The title of this post says it all. I own my own business, and I have travelled throughout the world. I've eaten in the finest restaurants in other major cities such as New York, San Fran, Paris, and Rome. 111 Chop House doesn't have to take a back seat to anybody.
Food is very well prepared and steak is always cooked to order. There is a good variety of fish, seafood, steak and chicken dishes. The appetizers and salads are also excellent. Desserts are a pleasure to enjoy.
Service is also top notch for Worcester. Wait staff is courteous, fast, and on top of everything.
Since moving to the central MA area, my wife and I eat her at least once a month. We also have an 18 month old that we bring regularly. The atmosphere is conducive to a nice dinner for two, or with the family.
I've heard complaints about price, but this place is a bargain for the food and service quality vs. any of its "big city" competition.
Pros: Service, food, desserts
Cons: Can get a little noisy, but that is because it is always busy

Food was pretty much diner fare. The thick shake was thick and very s-l-o-w through the straw. Served in a tall milkshake glass with extra shake served alongside still in the metal mixer cup. Very nostalgic, as was the decor. Elvis, RT 66, CocaCola, etc.
A nice divalternative the run-of-the-mill burger joint.
Pros: Wonderful atmosphere. Perky waitresses. A fun experience

Anthony's in Worcester is a real authentic (to my eye anyway) Italian restaurant. I didn't even recognize most of the menu but had the "Pollo Aragosta" and it was excellent. Kind of cozy and a little expensive, but the food seemed worth it. Note though that they don't take reservations, so plan accordingly, especially considering the small-ish size..

I would like to focus on the previous reviewers comments about my fine restaurant.
Dan go f--- yourself you fag.
I love the freedom of the internet as much as the next guy as well as free speech but you should really go f--- yourself.
The old owners did not pack up their chuck wagon and head back to Texas. Instead they filed for bankruptcy and moved back to California where they were from. But then you have to wonder what the hell does that have to do with a review?
They made a dry cardboard like brisket and their sauces which you are so in love with went by the name Sysco House Recipe B.B.Q.
Seriously, what kind of a God Damn review was that!
Food is so subjective; the reviewing of restaurants should best be left to the professionals and not Dan.
It is hard enough to make it in this business today, let alone in Worcester, and I can't imagine how many people might be turned away from giving my place or others a chance because of Dan and others like him.
In closing, my place rocks and Dan does not. Think before you post twit!

The Art Bar is borderline pretentious. There, I said it. Three floors of dance floors and fancy 'lounge' areas. A 'loft' and cigar area on the top floor. The drinks were expensive. The bouncers and even tenders were kind of uptight. Everything was really clean, though, and a mix of modern and antique-y. Interesting place, but not somewhere I'd stop by regularly.
