My partner recently moved to worcester from Martha's Vineyard and needed a cut and color before starting a new job. I was pretty nervous finding a new salon ans stylist for such someone used to such pampered and personalized service that the Island offers a client. Through my research I found Tu Moda and decided to give them a shot. WOW, I immediately had to remind myself I was still in Worcester and not on vacation. What a great atmosphere and unbeliveably attentive staff! Amy was great! She listened to my partners requests, wasn't afraid to make suggestions and made a game plan on what to do until his desired style could be obtained. I can't belive I'm just now finding this Gem of a spa after 3 1/2 years here in Worcester. I've already booked us in for a full day of spa treatments! Do yourself a favor and go in for a tour of the spa and salon. Their prices are very reasonable and most certainly better then Boston and you don't have to pay for the tolls or parking! Pros: great atmosphere, talented and very friendly staff Cons: I didn't find it sooner!

I was a second time client at this salon and had after having several spa services went upstairs to have my hair colored. At the end the stylist said the left side of my hair didnt take the color ; it must be that I had used a drugstore product. I politely informed her I did not and never had. She then exclaimed she forgot to color it! It was the end of the day , so I was booked to return the next morning; which was the same day I was leaving for vacation! In a rush to get to the airport I was mortified when I went to check out they wanted to charge me for having it dried! After their mistake! I requested a manager and was told no one was around and the owner was busy. Then I thought at least I would be contacted.I was new to this area and very taken back. I use salons on a regular basis , utilizing many services. This is one business I wont frequent again.

My first visit to Tu Moda was before the big renevation years ago, and I had an awesome pedicure! The service & staff was very professional and friendly. The only thing i didn't like was the lack of space..i felt like was tucked into a corner. AFTER the changes, I have visited a few more times and indulged in massage services that have been wonderful. The decor is relaxing and nice. i have also gotten a pedicure since my first visit, but i have to say that it was less than satisfactory. i felt like i was rushed yet there was no one else in the immediate area waiting that i could see. I ended up having to get my pedicure re-done elsewhere within the week. I also think that product variety is important and to my knowledge Tu Moda only uses Aveda product. Last time I was there, that was all that was available, and I don't really like Aveda. Too bad really, because the spa has wonderful and professional highly trained friendly staff. I would recommend massage services any day.

Tu Moda European Day Spa located on Pleasant St in worceter is the best place to go to completely relax from head to toe.They have excellently maintained the spa and have some very nice decorations there.I have been there a few times and i love it.They also send you some money saving coupons for your future visits which a plus again.I have had a few differnt kinds of messages there inclusing the pregnancy massage at the time i was pregnant,also had sweedish message and my husband had a deep tissue message.They also offer some hair cutting services and waxing.All in all i give them 5 stars for there excellent jon.There staff is very higly qualified and very customer friendly.
