I went there in search of finding a used board to ride this summer. The person working there took me to where all the used boards are and whipped out 4 or 5 different ones based on what I told him about my riding and price range. We decided on a 6'4'' board that only wound up costing $160. They fixed up the minor dings for free, gave me free wax, a free fin key, and a discount on a DVD I bought. I told them that I was looking for a cooler traction and they said when I find one, to bring it down and they'd put it on my board for me. Definitely my favorite shop.

I always return to kennedys to buy my Uggs. Everyone there is so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They give me a great deal every time. Definitely better than waiting in line at the mall!

Back in 1971 I was just a surf hungry kid and always hanging out in his shop in Tarzana, right across the street from the Corbin Bowling Alley and theater. I sat in this funky chair he had, read Surfer magazines and go to meet all his friends who came in. Glenn had a small shaping room in the back and he used to let me answer the phone for him and run the shop. Shoot, I even sold a wetsuit or two and maybe even a couple of rack boards. He shaped all of my boards until I moved out of the West Valley. He even took me surfing, Malibu, Huntington. Silver Strands and a few other places. He was my biggest influence and even today, living in Oregon, still surfing, I owe so much to the man. Thanks, John Mason

I've known Glenn since we were in Staircase Surfing Association way back in the 60's and I can say there is not a better surfer/person around. Buy his boards...they rock. Glenn is so cool he even let me shape my own board in his little shaping room at home in his garage. He gave me all the tools and a few pointers then had the board glassed for me and it came out great. Thanks Glenn keep up the stoke....Rod Haltom
