My last visit to AMF Lanes was great. I went with a few of my friends. We had 2 lanes total to share between us.There were so many lanes there--I think there was close to a hundred! Their arcade had so many fun games to play, and I won some really cool prizes. I gave the stuffed animal I won to my nephew. If you want to go bowling, you have to go to AMF. They are the best when it comes to bowling!

The Hitting Zone is a great place to go if you like to play baseball. It's fabulous place to see how well you can hit the baseball. Even if you don't like baseball, you have to admit, once you go, no matter how much you say you don't like baseball, you still have a great time. It's a great place to bring my family and spend the afternoon practicing our swing.

Tanglewood Park has some wonderful history behind it. It is such a great place to go to "escape" the real world. I have a year round pass to enter the park and can do so as many times as I want/need to. I love to go and play a round of Par 3 golf when the weather is nice. During the weekdays, it is only $6 and on weekends it is $7. The golf course is really well maintained and groomed. The course can get busy on the weekends, so I usually go on weekdays to bypass the crowds.

12 tables means you almost never have to wait. Tables are in great shape, staff is friendly and fun. Yes, you do have to be a "member". Of course that holds true to all establishments in NC that serve liquor but not food.

Petsmart is so fun because you can take your dog into the store as long as he is on a leash. I love taking my dog here and take him about once a week to pick out a treat. They have a ton of dog stuff here and you can find pretty much annything that you need all in once place. Also you can get crickets here if you have a reptile that needs those.

My daughters class has went here for a field trip and also we as a family have made many trip to this great place. My kids love going here to see what is new and visit the gift shop. They have tons of stuff to keep the kids busy all day long and the get educated along the way! The prices are pretty good and well worth what you get out of it. We were very impressed with the staff and all the attractions. I would recommend this place for any family looking to spend a great afternoon together!

The Reynolda House is a very interesting place to visit. I don’t however recommend you taking young children there because there isn’t much for them to do. I was very impressed with the prices to visit children under 18 are free. This is a big bonus for a lot of families. You will find a beautiful restaurant to dine in when your finished and some nice ships (again not young children friendly). I have heard the new exhibition wing is complete but we have not been there to see if yet. This is a great place to visit if you like art.

This is an all time favorite of the Triad. They sell bikes, repair bikes, they have rollerblading and skateboarding equipment as well as a full line of sporting goods. If it's got wheels and needs to be fixed, this guy can probably fix it! I believe he even fixes scooters. I've had a few bikes repaired at his shop, and even bought one

Omega sports has everything you need sport related. If you can't find it at one of the big chain stores, you will find it here. I think it's better to go here that one of the big stores, because of the attention you receive. The staff is excellent, and very helpful.
