This had to be one of the most unique shops I've been in. They cater to the young and old, the novice and the new commer! There are tons of board games, WW1 & 2 games, card games, models, mini figures, paints, scenery...you name it!! They have classes on model building and painting. Their prices were SOOOO reasonable! The customer service was outstanding. There are three tv's set up to play video games. OUTSTANDING!!! You gotta check it out!!

Wow...it was like walking into a candy store. Tons and tons of used books, all for a fraction of the cost!! I was in heaven!! No longer would I stand in line waiting for a new release...I would wait a week and come here!!! Where was this place all my life?? You need school books? They got'em. DVD? VIDEOS? Yes, they've gottem!! Music CD'S?? Guess what? They've got them too!!! Text books, video games, audio books...they've got it all!!! Don't pass this one by! (for all you coffee lovers, there is a Starbucks across the street!!!) They also buy used merchandise!!

This movie theatre sells out all the time. And it is ridiculously crowded, especially on the weekends. I went a few weeks ago to a movie and even though I was there an hour early it was already sold out. If you really want to go to the movies, go to the one on Reynolda because it is far less crowded. Like other reviewers have said, avoid the concession stands because of course they are ridiculously expensive.

Here's a place to do it all. They host concerts, sporting events, large flea markets. They have concessions and great seating, there is not a bad seat in the house. You can believe if it's a big name, they will at some point appear at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Tickets vary in price according to the event. They have circus's for the kids, Sesame Street Live, lots of family fun. Bring the whole family and enjoy a night out!

Great place to take your kids or if you babysit or nannies to take your charges. During the summer they offer even more programs and have special activities on different days of the week for your kids. The price to get in is very reasonable and they have tons. Good for kids ages four to ten. Not much for older kids but younger kids love it.

This store was kind of a hole in the wall and definately wasn't what I thought it would be! Miss Lady's music Creations is a wonderful shop located in Winston Salem. They have all types of insturments, sheet music, recorded music and a great selection of CD's/tapes. The staff was friendly enough, but their prices were pretty high compared to other music shops I've been in. If money is no object then I would recommend this store, but since the price of gas is killing all of us, save your money and go somewhere else.

Of course you may want to sneak in your own candy bar, because as we all know movie theaters are pretty pricey when it comes to consessions!

If you aren't in a bowling league, and you go to bowl with your family and friends... make sure you check that you are able to bowl there at that time. We went to bowl one night, and we asked how much it was... we were told the prices and so we told her that there were X many of us playing, and THEN she said we couldn't bowl til 8 because there was a league playing. She should have told us before when we were questioning... or there should have been signs of some sort letting us know. There weren't. We were disappointed.
