I was just down in Los Angeles this weekend and I decided to get a manicure. This place was just a couple of blocks down from my friends' house so we decided to go there. The thing that attracted us most was the prices. I remember that it was $15 for both a manicure and a pedicure. If you wanted french tip you had to add $3. add $5 for a design. It is a place owned by Korean's I think they were. The entire time I was there the TV was turned to some channel where there was a minister preaching to his congregation. Hmmm....I dont know, I just thought that was interesting. I was getting my nails done and everything seemed fine. But when I got my french tips I wasn't really satisfied with my manicurist's work. I felt bad but I asked for it to be redone. The second time was better but still not the bomb. However, it started coming off 2 days later! IS that really how long a manicure should last? I dont think so. I think I would still concider coming back here, I would just get a solid color however. It is easier for the manicurist to do and I would hope it would last longer.
