This carry out restaurant and grocery has a great selection of different sushi rolls, which they make fresh to order. My son also likes their prepared calamari salad, seaweed, octopus with vegetables and boiled octopus legs.
Their miso soup is not all that great. For better, try Akai Hana on the other side of the mall.
We will be going back there sometime soon.

Don't be fooled by the name of this place. It's not really so much of a religious place as it is a landmark in Wilmett. This is one of the most beautiful structures in all of Chicago. Its very intricately designed and is surrounded by beautiful and well kept gardens. Whether you go here for a stroll around the gardens or to actually take one of their daily guided tours, you will for sure have a great time. Make sure to check timings though. It has shorter hours during the winter time.

I love to go to the Chalet just to browse. They have an extensive gift shop with a lot of unique products for that "person who has everything". They have an extensive garden shop with lots of staff on hand to help out and answer any questions you might have. They stock a nice variety of natural dog treats and foods in the pet department. Dogs are welcome here!

A great place to go for a taste of homemade ice cream. They have all sorts of flavors..from plain vanilla to strawberry cheescake. I would advise getting their hot fudge sundae from here. They put so much fudge and nuts in it..it tastes good! Also, make sure to try out all of their toppings. They have a new topping each time I go!

this place has the best tasting ice cream around. we stopped in on our way home one time. in the phone book it said that they were rated finest peach ice cream so i decided to have that. i can't even explain to you how great it was because it was that good. i have never had peach ice cream before so i was in heaven. my husband had a fresh fruit sorbets which i tasted and it was so fresh. the best thing is that if i ever have a craving for it and can't drive there, because it is way out of my way, they ship nationwide. thank god for that.

Tom and his crew were able to find the source of the leaks in my house, they found the way to eliminate the leaks and repair the damage that had already been done. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and extremely easy to work with. I highly recommend Thomas Underly.

While the salon leaves a little to be desired in the way of friendly service and elegance for the prices, Juliette gives a great haircut with a delightful English accent. I don't hesitate to recomment her, but wish she's open her own shop. I've encouraged her to do so...she's great.
