last night i was sitting at home, and decided i wound like to relax and go get an alcoholic bev. at the circle k right around the corner...well as i was about to pay for my little 40 oz ..the clerk ask me if i had been drinking that day..i replied no this will be my first one though..and he said sorry i wont be able to sell you this..because you look intoxicated..i was in total shock, i mean i can see if i HAD been drinking thats totally understanding but to sit there and say ive been drinking and i was staggering that is not right...also when i was in line there were two males in front of me and they were able to purchase there bev no problems..but why when i go up to the counter i get refuse...that is discrimination against a female for one..you should not be able to refuse to sell just because a person LOOKS intoxicated..but that REALLY upsets me when i had not a single bit of alcohol in me what so ever..that is like telling someone i cant sell you those krispy kreme donuts cause you look like you had one to many....this clerk ive never seen there before and i go in there every night..this is a serious matter and as a paying customer i feel this was not handled the right way..and i would like this to be corrected for future purchases
