Earlier this year I cut my hair to donate it in support of my aunt who is fighting breast cancer (and winning!) Id been growing out my hair since I was 18 (24 now) so it was a BIG deal! From when I first made my appointment I knew i'd be ok. Ii was setup with a stylist named Lauren who specializes and LOVES to style and cut curly hair. She is truly amazing! We cut off over 14 inches of hair and weren't left with much but she worked her magic and created a beautiful, bouncy manageable curly bob cut - with a bit of an edge. I just went back to get a trim and Lauren was as sweet as ever, remebered just what my hair looked like when she first cut it and once again worked her magic. If you have curly hair andf arte looking to take a rsik - artika is the place and Lauren is the woman for ther job. Great! Great! Great!

Mike was very easy to get along and very helpful, polite, and honest person that I ever dealt with doing business for the first time. I had bad experience with contractors during the past when asking about patio sliding doors to be installed. There are individual scams. I am very happy with the installation...an excellent job and very reasonable price comparing to other eight balls...scams. I will certainly keep Mike in my list for other future jobs needed and also highly recommend Mike to other customers. As the Hawaiian says...... MIKE-NO-KA-OI. ALOHA. Pat B

This restaurant is quite casual (in a good way) and has a very friendly staff. The prices are reasonable and the food is really good. It's located near the college campus, but it isn't a loud, obnoxious setting. You will find older patrons combined with families and college kids. The outdoor patio is also very nice on warm days.

actually...they now have a full time stylist and she is FABULOOOUUSS! i just got my cut and color done and she did an amazing job, she knows what shes doing and i HIGHLY recommend trying out this salon...the staff is helpful and professional and their esthetician is great! try them out, i guarantee youll leave feeling beautiful!

Yes, I'm Asian and yes, I have lived in China for awhile. I get the fact that American Chinese is not exactly what you would eat in China. I would say though that of all the Chinese restaurants I have been to (and I'm tired of Panda Express), Silver Palace is very good! Our family has been going to the restaurant for about ten years now and every time we go we order the braised green beans along with another dish. The food and service are excellent! Bob and his staff are friendly and serve some pretty tasty food.
Pros: Great food and service
Cons: Probably not cheap food like Panda...
