This place has fresh, unique dishes that you just can't find elsewhere. The menu has an assortment of both sweet and savory crepes. The salads are dressed with a delicious raspberry vinagrette. They also have a very good hummus appetizer. Located conveniently in Uptown Whittier and reasonably priced. Very good service, too.

The restaurant was busy but overcrowded. They prepared a large table for our group of 14 people (including 2 children) The atmosphere was typical Mexican. The place was clean and the employees were friendly.
The server was patient and friendly. She took care of the picky eaters without trouble and provided a much spicier salsa for us when we mention that the stuff put out was mild and not hot enough.
Price: $9 - $10 a plate
Food: average
Pros: Good taste for low price - overall good experience
Cons: Not an exceptional meal but much better than you get anywhere else for that price.

I have been going here for 20 years and it is still the best in the Town! We have had many additions but none have been able to hold a candle to this local! Both the restaurant and the bar are Great, management has been up & down but the staff has always made up for it. Great place for brunch and sunday football, not too mention the fact it is a holiday destination! i have taken my family of 8 brothers and sisters and their families and everytime has been Great! It isn't Morton's but it is definitely better than Chili's; Red Robin; mimi's and anything else in Whitier except Lascari's(food wise)

This place is known for their delicious burgers, fries, and milkshakes. They have a 50's diner look. Everytime I've gone there their staff has been extremely nice and friendly. If you are around the area and you feel like a burger, this is a good place to go.

Open for lunch only, this place does a booming business with locals, college students, and business folk. All they do is sandwiches! OK, you can get a drink and some chips, but you get the idea. Generous filling on choice of bread. You can even get a great egg salad sandwich here, which is not always easy to find in other shops. Eat in or take away. Staff calls their regulars by name. Entire lunch under $5.
