Great little local place that is easy to miss, their sushi is fresh and delicious. The owner is so kind and is always helpful, should try to sit at sushi bar and with John as your sushi chef. There are always new waitresses that are college students and they are never organized. And the restaurant closes from 2:30-5 p.m. for lunch and they are closed every Monday, overall very much worth it.
You will not be disappointed.
Pros: Fresh sushi, great experience, sit at bar.
Cons: There are always new waitresses which are not organized

This may not be the best sushi you will have, but you will have a good time! The sushi is pretty tasty but not the best and leans towards a middle range price. The crowd is diverse catering to couples and friends of all ages and definitely pulls a good crowd from the local Whittier college student body. The restaurant is small with minimal outdoor seating and is almost always packed, so reservations on the weekends especially with big groups are recommended. It is friendly but be prepared for a few tables to get a little loud when the college students start on rounds of saki bombs!
Pros: fun atmosphere good sushi
Cons: limited seating

Azabu is not just a sushi restaurant...but a sushi experience. Their sushi is amazing. With a very wide selection Azabu will not disappoint. I recently tried sea urchin. Not bad, but I think I will leave it on the survival only list. Price is a little steep, but well worth it. Azabu is located on Philadelphia just off of Greenleaf in Whittier. This is a really nice location, as it is off the main drag and doesn't get overcrowded. Every time I visit Azabu, I walk out completely satisfied. When you do visit, try one of my personal favorites, the White Dragon roll.
