Its so funny to see the good reviews on Dr. Melnicks... however, he didn't kill your mother when she just had everything going for her. Sure, hes great when he doesn't have a daughter back east that needs surgery. I am YET to get an apology from him for ruining my life by taking my mum away. Its awful and I hope none of you get ignored like my mum did while she literally laid on her death bed in immense pain on CHRISTMAS DAY! Good Luck! Think again before going to this doctor. He killed my mum and you will never know because he had good lawyers that hid it well for him. Why don't you ask him about the lady that died because of a medical mistake (HIS) on Christmas 2004. I wonder if he will remember?

This is in response to the "be leary" Well there is no need! I read that article it is from 1998. Seymour Melnik is one of the nicest and smartest doctors I have ever met. He is sensitive and knows what he is doing. That fraud claim was bogus, he didn't do anything wrong. He is a GREAT DR, and that is all anyone needs to know.

Well, I have seen all 3 Doctors. They are great and very experienced. I am seen mostly by the youngest which is Marc. He is a great Doctor and if there is something he hasn't seen or is not sure about he tells you and gets the other doctors involved. There is too many dr that say oh that is nothing because they are afraid to say they don't know. So this is want you want. I have had them deliver my son, and I have had a hysterectomy. And have received nothing but the best from this practice. Now Whittier Pres. They have some issues, but definitely not the Doctors. Definitely Recommend them all!

You would be hard pressed to find a better OB-GYN. He is caring and kind; is not quick to do surgery, very conservative in that area. I have had two children under the care of Melniks and Soloway, and a hysterectomy several years later. Dr. Seymour has a way of making you feel like you are his only patient and that your treatment and comfort are of utmost concern. He has spoiled me for I can't help but compare other doctors and they rarely can compete. I have been a patient for 23 years.

Dr. Melnik performed a hysterectomy on my mom and she had complications and his son was to look after her. THey kept sending her to the ER. ER would treat her as a heart patient. On Xmas day she went into the hospital and never came home. Melnik said sorry to my mom after she woke from the coma and before she died, however his office charged my dad for the entire procedure that killed her. We should have sued but we were in too much pain. Be careful.

I love both Dr. Marc Melnik & Seymour. I have quite an extensive background with both doctors, in that about five children in our family have been delivered by these wonderful doctors. My son was in wonderful hands with Marc Melnik. He delivered him just last year. Dr. Seymore Melnik came highly and exclusively recommended by my mother-in-law, who had the absolute priveledge and honor to be nurtured and delivered by Dr. Seymour over thirty-five years ago. Several other women in our family have had that same priviledge. My husband and I are planning another child in a couple of years, but are also planning on moving out of state within the next couple of months and let me tell you, I am still coming out here to see Dr. Marc. I can just sum it up to wonderful bedside manner. They are kind and gentle and offere only the very best care. Despite what your other reviewer said about not being able to trust someone who would do a little insider trading, I will keep going back to him. It speaks volumes about the kind of person he is, when everyone that I recommend to him comes out of his office with a sense of peace and serenity. The kind of peace only a good physician can offer. Let he who has no faults or flaws cast the first stone!!!! He is a top knotch doctor with a good heart!

I have never been examined by this physician, but I have been to his practice. Before I went there, I did a google search which revealed Dr. S. Melnik and his buddies were involved in a securities fraud/insider trading scam. It tells nothing of his abilities as an OB/GYN, but it tells a lot about his character.
