Now, I have been a customer at Helen's beauty supply in Brea (which recently closed) in the Brea mall,for quite some time now. I buy false lashes on a weekly basis. After the Helen's in the Brea Mall closed, I started going to the Helen's in Whittier. Everything was fine, until recently they have seriously downgraded on the quality of the lashes. For example, the lash number that I used to purchase regularly was number 202. The lashes stayed on well, were thick, and long as well. Now, When I purchase the 202 lashes, they happen to be very thin and very flimsy. The quality of the lashes has gone down, and the price has gone up. I am sorry to say I am very dissapointed, because Helen's used to be one of my favorite places to go. Now I just feel like its a waste of money because of the poor quality , I want them to get the old lashes back. They are now using some kind of eyelash brand called "Bliss". It is more expensive and not even worth it. What the hell happened?

Well, after such a scathing review of a closer (to my home) beauty supply, I must say that Helen's is what I would hope to find in a beauty supply store. Though I must say, they just moved into a brand spanking new building, so they have no excuse to be run down or junky. Helens is sparkling clean, with lots of inventory and nice fixtures. Customer service, when I have been there, is lacking. Maybe I got a bad employee or someone having a couple bad days, but it really shouldnt be too hard to greet a person as they walk in...or is that too much to ask? I dont need a lot of attention as a customer. In fact, I prefer to be left alone, but I do appreciate someone acknowledging that I am in the store. But besides that, this store is nice and always has what I am looking for.
