I have heard great things about the Yarmouth House Restaurant. I went one night with some friends and I was not impressed. The food was only so-so. We got calamari and it was very rubbery. The lettuce in the salad was a little wilted, and the chicken was dry. The drinks were good though! Our waiter did a good job but wasn't very outgoing. If you go you should dress up as most people do.

I have only been to the Yarmouth House Restaurant for a large group dinner every winter. For the size of the crowd I am always impressed with the food quality and service. If they can do such a good job with our group, I would imagine that on a regular night the dinners would be great!

This past summer my son and I went to the Cape. We stopped by here to have some pizza. They were really fast and it tasted great. They even had a coupon in a fly-er there we could redeem. They have tables to eat at their and they deliver too. The staff was really friendly and it was priced right.

Okay, well first things first. The service is very friendly and attentive. It is very clean and has a warm but fun atmosphere. The food is the main attraction though. About a mile away you can smell the steak and chicken here. The menu is possibly the biggest ever, and it usually takes me 10 minutes to decide, yet still not positive. The turkey tips are always grilled to perfection and juicy. The fries can come out a little cold sometimes, but not often. And I would recommend the coleslaw anyway. It is healthier and tastier, and is actually not drowned in mayo like most. The garden salad is o fresh you may actually think they have a garden, and it is very generous for only $3.29. The dressing options are so endless, I can never choose and have the waitress repeat it at least twice. (Which they say gladly.) The calypso shrimp is so good and the batter is coconut and crispy. The baked scrod is always flaky and fresh and the crumb topping is so good I can hardly describe it. The seafood chowder is very good and hot and the prices are all very reasonable.
Pros: Huge menu, kid friendly and great food and drink.
Cons: A little loud at times, and fries can be salty and cold.

This summer I went their for lunch. It was a very tasty meal. During the day the dinning room was closed so we sat in the bar area. They do have quite a few tables in the bar area. It was a friendly laid back meal but the quality was great. We even found local coupons and received 1/2 off an entree.

My family and I recently visited a restaurant by the of Molly's in West Yarmouth, MA. It was probably the worst experience I have ever had. Once we arrived I asked the waitress if I could see the ingredients in the children's hot dog and roll. I explained my 7 year old son has a severe milk allergy and I want to make sure they are safe for him to eat. Her comment was "Do you want me to bring the box out here?" My husband responded saying that I could go in the kitchen to read the label and she said no.
Meanwhile we were also able to experience the Manager/Owner scoulding her waitresses for sitting down on the job. While we were eating our waitress was off eating herself, no where to be found. After a few days went by I decided to call to speak with the manager as I was extremely disappointed and didn't want to say it with my son sitting next to me. When I called the manager didn't have the time to speak with me once she knew what I was calling about. I was able to speak with our waitress and she was even more rude on the phone. After I told her disappointed I was she said "Sorry, but what do you want me to do about it now" then she "You are 1 person out of a million lady" and hung up on me. I just wanted to let other people know what the atmosphere is at Molly's Pub and Restaurant in West Yarmouth, MA

We ate here with our grandson and liked the food although he had a little trouble with the menu since they specialize in seafood. It is very busy and we just beat a tour bus to the restaurant. Prices are reasonable and I recommend it.
