We really enjoyed our meal here. The service was good but the restaurant is a little cramped. You will want to stay with the seafood. There is a little wait but it is worth it.

I dream about Captain Parkers clam chowder. Whenever we go to the cape we make it a point to stop in here for at least one meal. It is usually really crowded so go early or a bit later.

If you go to Hyannis you HAVE to go here. The chowder is the best I have ever had and the scallops are amazing too. The portions are huge and prices are average for the Cape.

The Clam Chowder is excellent! The other food ordered was average. The down side is that they charge for soft drink refills, and do not tell you until you request one.

I would have scored them higher had they not irritated us with the wait. They told us it was going to be a 40 minute wait and we came back after 20 and they had already called us 15 tables ago (apparently you cannt count on their estimated wait time, or at least not that night). Then they told us we would be next, forgot about us, and gave away our table to someone else. Had we been anywhere else we probably would have walked out, but we really wanted to try it. We ordered a large Greek salad, and split it between two ($10 for a large). That was plenty of salad. Then we each ordered bowls of clam chowder for $6. The chowder was excellent. I loved it. Very filling, too. Between the salad, rolls (all meals come with bread and butter), and the soup, we were stuffed. We had ordered fish and chips to split, but each only took one bite and took the rest home. The fish and chips were $15, which was a little pricey, but it was good. You could tell the fish was fresh. Next time I would just order the soup and salad, which would make it $10 each for dinner, plus tip. The atmosphere is small town and cozy. Again, I would have scored this a 9.0 if not for the mix-up with the seating. I would go back and hopefully have a better experience.
Pros: Great food and reasonable price
Cons: Wait time
