Another 99-cent store. Yah well if you read my last one about 99 cent stores you'd know that my town has a lot. This one is also very good. They have a lot of different products and you can usually find what you want. If you can't find it the staff is usually helpful and will help you find what you’re looking for. I really can't complain too much about 99 cent stores because there such a bargain, but you always got to search for better quality and here you can find it.

The Green Kitchen is a place that impressed me in the late 80's, so I went there a lot. Growing tired of it, I wanted to try other places. So I did. And yet, whether the other restaurants were better (or worse), I still kept returning now and then to the Green Kitchen. It is almost 20 years later, and I still eat there from time to time. Hey, why change? The food is good, the prices are right, and I get good service.
The Green Kitchen in located in the Galaxy Towers on Boulevard East in Guttenberg. It serves a wide variety of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Cuisine ranges from Italian to Greek to American (Continental cuisine in a nutshell!) It is open 7 days a week. Diners there can sit at the counter or in the smoking or non-smoking sections of the restaurant, or even at the tables located in the bar area. Yes, there is a bar..and it's popular. Prices are moderate and portion size is very good. I hate to pay for something that is about the size of two bites!
For breakfast, I recommend their pancakes, which are to die for. But the omelettes are good too..there is a Popeye Omelette for spinach lovers. Breakfast is vast in variety, so enjoy. Try their fresh squeezed orange juice..probably one of the best I have tasted. On Sundays, the restaurant offers a brunch menu. There are lunch and dinner specials everyday. For lunch, if I don't have a sandwich, I have sliced London Broil. I love their soups..I go crazy over their Cream of Mushroom soup. Their French Onion soup is quite good. Try their Caesar Salad with grilled chicken..quite tasty. My mother-in-law swears by their Gyros and Reubens, while my child loves the Chicken Soup, which will either have noodles, orzo pasta,or rice (I guess it depends what the chef has in surplus that day!)
For dinner, you can go early bird, from 4 to 6pm. Early Bird gives you soup or fruit cup, salad, bread (actually bread, crackers, and breadsticks), your entree, and dessert. Most of the dinners I have had are good. I am not too keen on the meatballs served with their Baked Ziti. I like their Chicken Francaise, but I have had better. Their Salmon dish with rice and vegetables is good, and plenty. I usually go for a pasta dish, a chicken dish, or Pot Roast when available. If you see the Chicken Scampi or Picatta, you must try it. For pasta, the Pomodoro with sundried tomatoes is tantalizing.
For dessert, there is one thing you must eat..their cheesecake, for which they are famous for. Even people like myself, who do not eat cheesecake that much, fell for it hard. If you cringe at a "cheesy'-tasting" cheesecake, fear not when you try Green Kitchen's version. It is so creamy and delicious.
The restaurant also has a small room for banquet/catering purposes. The room can fit to about 50 people. The catering menu is good...a sit down dinner consists of bread with the meal, pasta salad, choice of entree (chicken, steak, and salmon usually), beverage, and dessert. And when I catered a function there, our guests were welcomed to a table of 4 desserts. There is also a brunch catering menu as well.
Parking is interesting. If you get a spot out front on the Boulevard, great. There are a few spots in the back between the Galaxy Towers. Most likely, you might have to park on the streets around the area, or in the Galaxy Tower Parking garage. if you are not from the area, though, you better call up or ask someone how to get to the parking garage. Should you want to explore before your dinner, the Galaxy has plenty. There is a grocery store and a pizza/restaurant and wine place right across the hall, and a pharmacy card store, movie theater, video store, small ice cream shop, and an optometrist/optician downstairs.
All in all, I think most will enjoy the Green Kitchen. It's always busy, open early, and has lots to offer. No wonder why I keep coming back.

Centro Latino has the best cuban and latin american food. Our favorites are the papa rellena, boliche, pollo asado and croquetas. They also make the BEST maduros I have ever eaten. But, to be honest, my favorite thing is the complimentary garlic bread served before your meal - DELICIOUS! To top it off, the help is very friendly and service is great.

A great pizzeria to say the least. I have eaten here a couple of times and the food is always nice and hot. It's very inexpensive, unless you order something a little more gourmet. You're basic family eat in, but with a taste of Italy to go along with it. Definitely a try for anyone interested in Pizza, or anyone who wants a night out with the famiglia.

While Knightmare comics might not be the greatest comic book store imo opinion it comes very close. as a kid my cousins and me would come here alot. Even having to walk like crazy was worth it. I miss going there, scince i haven't been there in years. It is much much bigger than A&S comics and it sells alot more products. Go there and buy a comic and relax. they have chairs and stuff so you can skim through a couple comics before you buy. Nice store and I recommend you go there and shop. Like A&S they sell action figures and collectibles. They have more variety.

New Pizza on the Block (despite the cheesy name) has GREAT pizza, sandwiches and pasta. My husband has been ordering from them for the last 20 years and I jumped on the bandwagon about 6 years ago. Their pizza can't be beat, but they also make great sandwiches, pepperoni rolls and baked ziti.

Dr. Maria Mena is my children's pediatrician and has been since 2002 when my oldest was born. She is very experienced and caring. If you are unfortunate enough to have to take your child to the hospital, she calls ahead and talks to everyone and you basically get the red carpet treatment. She is highly respected at the hospitals, I guess, and they treat her patients with extra care. When my son michael was 13 days old, she hospitalized him overnight for dehydration...she called me at 10pm at the hospital to talk to me, and she came by on rounds the next morning. She is a very conservative, cautious doctor who likes to cover all the angles when your children are sick to make sure that the cause is found. She is never dismissive of the parents' concern. The only drawback with Dr. Mena is that she is a sole practioner and her practice is huge, so sometimes you have to wait awhile to see her, although they will ALWAYS fit you in if your child is ill. She's the best!!

This gym isn't bad, but it isn't good either. It is probabbly in the worst location possible. It's on Bergenline ave. One of the most congested streets close to my town. It's also next to a Mcdonalds so it kinda be a bad motivator for the person trying to lose weight. Also the place has giant glass windows so people outside can see what your doing inside. Not to comfortable setting for working out.

This store is always extremely crowded and often their selection of movies is very picked over. It can take a while for a new release to be available because they are always checked out. The store is very small and cramped. It does have a convenient location, but nothing else to recommend it.
