I can honestly say I've never had a dissapointing meal from Jimmy's. I've been going there for MANY years. The atmosphere is very casual (jeans) and the fact that it's located right on the water makes the wait very long in the summer, but when you don't mind waiting, visit this restaurant and you won't be dissapointed. The prices are average - not low, but not through the ceiling either. The seafood is really great and the desserts ?? Even better !! I really recommend this restaurant for a great meal ! Ask if its possible for a booth by the window (so you can see the beautiful ocean view). They don't accept reservations.

Great place! Honest people...which in my book is of number 1 importance. Work done right before your eyes. Very, very quick. Competitive prices. Wouldn't go anywhere else anymore. Have not bought jewelry from them yet...but would not hesitate to.

I am a customer of Apple Oil. Recently one of their delivery men accidentally broke my fence gate, adjacent to where the oil fill is located, while filling our oil tank. The gentleman informed me of what had happened. I called Apple Oil to find out the logistics of getting my gate fixed. I was pleasantly surprised when the owner of Apple Oil came to my home shortly after my request was put in (within an hour or two). Sam came to my front door to let me know that he will have the gate fixed as soon as possible. He was very kind, caring, and professional.
This is an excellent example of when a company listens to its customers and solves problems!
Sam went above and beyond the call of duty. Cu dos to Sam and the great staff of Apple Oil in West Haven, CT.
I am very pleased and will remain a loyal customer.

It may seem funny to give a 5-star world class rating to a company from West Haven, but in my book, they deserve it. At first I though they were a national franchise - they look and act so professional. Fortunately, their pricing is such that world class would seem misleading - its far less expensive than a national brand would demand. Average jobs are around $250-$400. A big franchise would insist on another zero. The owner is a regular guy with kids in school - where you know he lives by his word and has been doing business that way for twenty years. The work he does is so thorough and effective that you'd think your house was his advertisement for a national ad. He just put up a website at www.JiffyWash.net. Best to book early in the season.
PROS: Fastidious, professional power washing - like a science
CONS: Hasty clients get pushed back. Better for quality, not emergency.

My favorite sushi place in the area, housed with Jerry-san's sushi bar, this place is a real treat! The freshest fish is expertly prepared by highly experienced sushi masters. Each roll is a work of art in it's own right. The staff is very friendly and does not rush you through.

The help you fill out the paperwork, and let you know if there are any problems, and answer all of your questions. There is also an automated number to call and see if your check is in. This, I find to be very convenient.

Good: I liked the installer that came out and surveyed the condition of the roof and he suggested that I replace it as it was over 20 years old and the wood underneath the roof was rotted and that meant the entire 2 layers of roofing had to be removed, new plywood installed and then apply 30 year guarantee asphalt shingles, install a ridge vent at the peak so the attic can breathe and cool, new drainpipes and gutters and the price was not cheap but within my budget and I wanted it done properly.. Bad: To be honest, there wasn't anything that I didn't like as the man was courteous, on time for the estimate and he worked hard with his crew to achieve superior quality and now my roof doesn't leak anymore and I wouldn't hesitate to tell my friends and neighbors who to call if they want the best roofer for the price.. Improvements: None at all and as a matter of fact, they were really easy to talk to, me being a female, you would think that they would be talking down to me just as auto mechanics do and I always took it for granted that all tradesman were like that, but they proved me wrong.. Other: I'm going to need a new furnace and they can also help me for the upcoming winter months with a new H.B. Smith boiler for my hot air system.

our furnace would keep shutting off, i went online and typed in service for furnaces and put in all the information, within ten minutes I recieved a call and within a half hour air specialties was here fixing my furnace. The repairman not only fixed our furnace but explained everything that was going on. I will recommend this company to anyone. Excellent service and repair.
