I couldn't disagree more with the person who stated Green Man tattoo was rude and overpriced. I just got home from getting my first tattoo there and they were great! Very kind to me with the fact that it was my first and that it was very basic. But because it was special to me they made me feel it was the right tattoo for me. Jay did my tattoo and I LOVE it! It is delicate and feminine just as I described I wanted it. Thank you so much Jay!

I read the reviews online about Greenman and decided to get my tattoo there. When I first went in, the woman at the front was very polite and welcoming. I assumed that the whole shop would be just as comforting, so I booked my tattoo. I informed the artist (Jake) that I had never gotten a tattoo before. He was rude, and because he knew that I was inexperienced, I feel that he took advantage of the situation, over charged me and did a horrible job. I HATE the tattoo he did on me and I do not plan to ever go back there for any other work. I would not recommend for anyone to get a tattoo from this artist.

I had a tattoo done at Green Man several yearas ago after hearing wonderful things about them and at the time I was ahppy with the work. The facilty was clean and the staff was nice. A few years later I am not as happy. It was not an artistically complex tattoo and it is the only one of my 4 tattoos that has bled and faded.

At first I was very scared to go and get a tattoo, because of the things I've heard about the pain and because it was my first tattoo.. but you have to experience it for yourself to really get you own feel for things.. And im am under 18 and went with my parents to get it, and it doesnt hurt as much as i expected it to. I Went In as a Walk In and was taken care of quickly! The Owner Himself gave me the tattoo, and did a fabulous job on it! I Would Go Back Anytime and everytime I need something done!! And to all the first timers This is probably the best Tattoo Shop you can ever go to! Very nice atmosphere, and they are very ALL welcoming!! The Staff and artists are great. They ALL have a great sense of humor and answer any and every question you might have. Pros: Service, Quality, Time Management, Cost!! etc..

I went to Greenman tattoo studio in February with my two brothers. We had our family crest done by Ken Adams. He drew it up in about a half hour and started on my oldest brother first working his way down to me. Ken did a phenomenal job and I highly recommend his work. It came out great. We all went with black and gray and the design Ken came up with was perfect. He finished all three tats in one day and we all left the shop happy with the tattoos and the experience. I'm thinking of ideas for my next tattoo already. I'll definitely be contacting Ken to do the work. Anyone in Ct looking for a great tattoo artist or artists go to Greenman tattoo and you'll be sure to find one. Pros: Two thumbs up.

I've been going to Green Man since I turned 18, I'm now 28. Ken & Jon have both done work on me and they are not only extremely talented artists, they are also two of the nicest business men you will ever meet. Their studio is the cleanest I've ever seen. Georgina is their wonderful, talented piercer. I can't tell you how many piercings she's done for me and they have all been done with precision. I was just there on Friday, 5/30 and was bummed to find out from Ken that stupid people are bad mouthing their wonderful place of business by making false statements about their establishment being unsafe and unsterile. I heard about Green Man in 1998 when I was in high school by word of mouth. I've told countless people about how great they are at what they do. If you want a beautiful tattoo or a piercing from talented people, go to Green Man in West Hartford. I promise you will not be disappointed. Pros: Service & Quality. Cons: None.

It has come to our attention that there are individuals out that are attempting to slander our stellar repution. We have won several awards throughout our 14 plus years of operation. Including the Hartford Advocate's "Best Of Hartford" for 13 years consecutively. There are also indiviuals that are conducting busisness as "The Green ManStudio" outside of our 207 Park Road address. There are no Tattoo Artists who work here at the Park Road address that tattoo at their home or any other location. Please be aware of "Posers" that claim employment at the West Hartford location with promises of a cheaper tattoo because they can do outside of the Studio's location. Anyone is welcome to shop to view our operation and ask questions about our sterilization process. We have a one time use only policy. Our Public Health Records remains excellent.
