The Back Porch hasn't been open for over three years, the new restaurant is Barcelona which has been there a while now.....they don't serve breakfast, so I'm not sure where the last post got his/her breakfast, but it deffenitely wasn't the back porch(if it was, then i'm sure the bagel was stale, it was three years old from the day they closed)...lol

Went for breakfast and found my butter to be frozen, bagel stale and food over priced. Atmosphere was great, but the service and food left much to be desired. With the many wonderful restaurants in West Hartford, I will be spending my money elsewhere.

Basically, one of the best restaurants within West Hartford center, the "restaurant capital" of CT. Great food (pan-seared shrimp with capellini in a lobster cream sauce), great wine selection, courteous staff, knowledgeable and considerate management, plus great location. If you are in WH and don't hit up the Back Porch, you've got problems.
