My husband grew up living down the street from Park Lane Pizza. I met him 15 years ago - and we have been enjoying Park Lane Pizza together since then.
We moved to MD last year - and although my husband has tried pizza from several restaurants in MD, he has not been able to find anything that compares in quality and taste to Park Lane Pizza.
They just have a hearty sauce, fresh toppings, and their crust is the best around.
We love the dining experience where we can sit as a family, with our kids, and play songs on the table juke boxes. So much fun!
We make sure we go to Park lane for lunch whenever we go back to CT!

We went to Abys while visiting friends in West Hartfor and were very pleasantly surprised to learn that the owners were from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am from Colombia and had the opportunity to speak to Aby (Isabel), one of the two owners. She impressed me as a very honest human being. She said she only uses the freshest and best ingredients in whatever she bakes, because she knows her reputation is at stake. She told us she comes from a family of panaderos bakers and feels very proud to serve her clientele. She is very well versed in politics and any other subject you want to discuss. Aby is very funny, short and has a contagious laugh. We will definitely tell everyone to go and give Abys a chance. She deserves it and YOU deserve to eat some delicious pastries. Please do try the factura with caf???? con leche.

I've been to this restaurant a few times and every experience has been lovely! The waitstaff are friendly and attentive, the food that I have had has been very good, and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. Being a vegetarian who doesn't do well with spicy or hot foods, I really love the menu set-up because they divide an entire two pages worth of vegetarian items out for you, and label the meals if they are hot, spicy, or both. If you want to try two excellent dishes, I recommend the Vegetable Pad Thai and the Tofu Coconut Milk soup. I come back to this place especially for that soup! It is the MOST delicoius soup I have EVER had!
Pros: Atmosphere, service, vegetarian options and taste

Cosi is a great place if you feel like a quick, casual, cheap meal that is still delicious. While I would prefer to go for lunch (think sandwiches, soups, salads...), there's plenty for dinner, too (pizzas, etc.). They have the make your own smores plates too!
Overall, this place has great food, good service, and a relaxed atmosphere at good prices.

I am a Cosi groupie. Not only have I eaten at Cosi in West Hartford many times but I have eaten at two in Philadelphia, one in DC and one in Chicago. I know I will get a fresh and delicious salad made my way. One thing I have learned is that the menu is not the same at every Cosi. In Chicago I tried to order the Brie appetizer and got a blank stare.Speaking of the Brie appetizer it is my all time favorite Cosi meal. In DC I had it with an espresso Martini and it was a meal fit for the gods.
I like the fact that you can just sit back and relax on a sofa or an over stuffed chair or at a typical table and no one will rush you. It's a very comfortable place and always hopping.

Pho Boston is hands-down my favorite restaurant. The portions are huge and reasonably priced and the food is so unique. Other than pho (spicey pho is my personal favorite), they have fantastic chicken satay appetizers and shimp roles wrapped in rice paper with an out-of-this-world peanut sauce. This is a great place for something a little different.
