After a few awful waxing experiences soon after moving to the east coast, I was a little worried that no one knew how to do a brazilian wax! However, I had a great experience at this spa and will be coming here monthly. I would definitely recommend this place to others. Pros: Free parking, nice staff, will start to use online booking soon, evening appts

This place is great, you walk in and you are treated like a queen! The atmosphere is so relaxing and the staff are great. Their prices are reasonable and the care and quality of the massages are spectacular. Would highly recommend any service from Victorian Day Spa.

I went to Victorian Day Spa for a wax a while ago, and will be going back. Although my waxer was late for the appointment, the spa had been trying to call me to tell me that...I just hadn't gotten the calls so I can't hold it against them. The inside is fair...not the nicest spa I've been to by far, but also far from the worst. It was very clean, and I especially like that they separate the spa rooms from the salon (it keeps it much quieter). The room that I was in had particularly bright lights, which is probably better for waxing, but I do hope they use different lights/rooms for massages, etc. Monique did give me an amazing wax though! She was very thorough and quick, and super-friendly! I waited 6 weeks before my next wax, and probably could've gone even longer than that! I have recommended her to numerous friends, and would venture to guess that she may be one of the best around Hartford. While I cannot speak for any other services at this spa, I can say that the wax was great! I will definitely be returning for more waxing, and I would love to try other services there, too.
