I brought a transmission problem that was diagnosed by a GM dealer as requiring a replacement transmission. On the advice of a neighbor, I took the car to Talcott and they diagnosed the problem to be two electrical problems and NOT a problem with the transmission itself. They were honest and straightforward about the complexity of finding the electrical short, then went about and fixed it for 1/4th the cost! I'd recommend them HIGHLY - they are the kind of mechanics you wish for!

Talcott Transmissions Llc and brakes is an auto repair shop that do all types of auto work. The do batteries, starters, belts, hoses, brake service, Transmissions. I brought my car there for a transmission and i found out that the employees were very rude and wouldnt fix my problem. I would not recommend this Shop due to the fact that i had a very bad experience with them.

I brought a transmission problem that was diagnosed by a GM dealer as requiring a replacement transmission.
