Since leaving New Jersey, my wife, son and I have been at a loss for a decent local diner. Well, it looks like we finally found one. The premises of the West Chester Diner are immaculate and a trifle on the gaudy side, as you would expect any good diner to be. The booths are spacious and the background noise never rises to the level of a din, in spite of the crowds. Even the restrooms were well maintained.
The West Chester's menu is enormous, and peppered with Greek dishes the likes of which we haven't seen since leaving Jersey. They have an excellent salad bar (although it took them forever to replace a simple serving bowl of iceburg lettuce -- a forgiveable lapse, given the number of people at the restaurant on a busy Saturday night). The soups at the salad bar were good and hearty, and the help-yourself bread pudding -- made with what seems to be a slightly modified and very sweet challah bread, served as the house loaf -- was truly delicious.
Our waiter, Kamal, was courteous, professional and remarkably attentive, even though he was tending to a station of more than half a dozen large tables. My wife had a very good piece of sole which was as fresh as it was tender -- seasoned to perfection, and cooked just right. I ordered chicken marsala and spaghetti, which was quite good, although slightly overbreaded and tending toward fried -- my only cavil. Our nine-year-old son, who lives on comfort food (like every other nine-year-old) gave the mozarella sticks and cheeseburger two thumbs up.
The coffee was delicious, and while we ogled the dessert freezer, which was full of cakes and pies and tortes of varying sizes and caloric immensities, we abstained, this time. A good diner is only as good as the range and quality of its dessert offerings. The West Chester Diner doesn't disappoint.
One important heads up: If you're journeying westward, the entrance

A privately-owned bookstore that has a better selection than Borders. I love the atmosphere, the places to sit and browse, and the posted recommendations and reviews of the staff, all of whom are avid readers. The Magnolia Grill in the store is a great place to meet with friends and client and has great, inexpensive Cajun food as well as all the coffee and tea specialities you could want.

Dr. Foley talked us out of having our dog with kidney failure put down. She 'juiced him up' and got him stable. She was very responsive to our concerns and anguish. THANK YOU!

I have no feed back other than the fact that Mr. Sayer called and let me know he could not come on a few days, because of illness and then when he had not improved he did suggest I find someone else since his health had not improved at that time and he did not want to keep me waiting.
I am still looking for someone.
SINCE WE COULD NOT COMPLETE THE CONTRACT I DO NOT WANT TO PUT RATINGS, BUT YOUR SYSTEM WILL NOT ALLOW IT! This is not representative of his work as there was none, but of his follow up.

The place is dark and a little plain, but the food is outrageously good. I've had dinner here with my husband and I've been to parties (they'll close down the palce for you if you have a large enough group) and the food was excellent both times. In fact, I've never seen such tasty, high quality food served for an office Christmas party. I highly recommend this place.

This place gets packed for diner on the weekends but not to bad. Usually like a 10 min wait but it is worth it. They do have an amazing Italian buffet for lunch on the weekdays. Definetly get the pizza, maybe for an appetizer to split. (The eggplant pizza is amazing). Seems like a place you should dress up for, I felt a little out of place in my Birkenstocks and ripped up shorts. I would definitely recommend this establishment

After shopping in the glass and pottery store and watching glass being handblown and shaped, you will be treated to a wonderful meal in a lovely setting at Simon Pearce. Sit in the lower room for a peaceful view of the Brandywine. The wine list is not terribly large, but the selections are good and will provide an excellent accompaniment to your meal. The food is inventive, but not silly in its innovation. The ingredients are of the highest quality and many are local. A choice spot to enjoy a quiet romantic dinner or to dine with friends.
Pros: Who can beat a river beside your window?

Bob is what we all want in a hired worker. He arrived on time, did all that he said he would do, was neat and clean. He tiled my bathroom floor and installed two new toilets. Looks Great. His rate was very fair.

Joe did an excellent job and went above and beyond for us. Joe was very patient and professional with us throughout the process and was very understanding that we needed to be well informed every step of the way. He was very good at explaining our options, making recommendations and making us feel comfortable with the process. From planning to execution, Joe did a wonderful job. He was extremely reasonably priced and we would recommend him without a single hesitation. If we ever found ourselves in a situation again where we needed septic work done (or any excavation work for that matter) Joe would be the only one that we would call.

I think Kirkwood is terrific. Unlike other gyms-people are not there for show but there to work on themselves. I found most managers to be very helpful (hey, there's always one bad apple in the bunch). For middle age and older clients it's great-lots of classes to take at different times of the day.
I would like some TVs in the machine room however everyone seems to enjoy the private time they have-reading or listening to their music.
It's got the walking track, pool, sauna, hot tub (which I see them test the water frequently) and machines. I rarely have a problem getting a machine. The people are nice and plenty of parking. Mondays are busy-guess it's the weekend guilt crew.
No kids under 16 are permitted- a definite plus. Lot's of middle and seniors
I would recommend, and have to my friends.
Pros: parking, walking track, machine availability
Cons: no tv
