Visiting Vigneto is a very pleasant experience -- the shop is well laid out, nicely decorated, clean, and the owner is very knowledgeable about wines. They carry a nice selection of wines and a small selection of unusual beers. They are the only place in Weehawken to carry many of their items. The store has a sign in the window that it is pet friendly, and I have found that to be correct. Their prices are competitive but a little higher than some of the other stores in the area, but the atmosphere of the store is so much better than the rest of the neighborhood that the slightly higher prices are worth it.

Vigneto is Weehawken's only upscale wine shop. They have a good selection of a variety of wines and the owner is great about providing guidance in choosing a wine. The prices are a little higher than other shops in the area but they have many items that you cannot find at any other place in town. They also have a nice selection of beers although the selection is not very large. They carry other liquors, too. It is nice to see more upscale places moving into town and I hope this is the start of a trend improving the Weehawken shopping community.

Vigneto is Weehawken's only upscale wine shop. They have a good selection of a variety of wines and the owner is great about providing guidance in choosing a wine. The prices are a little higher than other shops in the area but they have many items that you cannot find at any other place in town.
