Accent is a great place to get flowers. They have a beautiful selection. Their prices are reasonable and their staff is really nice and helpful. I had no idea what I wanted to get for my girlfriend and they helped me pick them out and made them look great.

I had never been into a Dollar Tree until this one opened in Weatherford. Unlike Dollar General, et al, DT is clean, organized and appears to be well managed. The stock is rotated frequently so every week you'll find something new to buy.
The concept is that everything's only a $1 and that's true. Lots of the $1 food items are off-brand or national brands you can get for less at the grocery store. The grocery aisle doesn't do much for me.
I like DT for its seasonal items. Everything you need to buy to fill stockings, for your child's school parties and to celebrate any holiday is always at DT.
Always check out the scrapbook area on the office supply aisle. Lots of similiar products retail for three times as much at a scrapbook store.

The prices are a little too high for me. They have a unique selection of items that you won't find anywhere else. They have some small jewelry items that are nice. It is a good place to find that perfect gift for someone you love (it just comes at a slightly high price).

The only good snake is on a plane, that’s what I always say so I got myself a pair of snake skin boots so I can show them critters whose boss hog around here I’ll tell you what I saw some fangs on a rattler so big they could pierce your skin to deliver venom. Its sharp too, I don’t think them snakes will bite my new boots cause that is like cannibalism and snakes aren’t into that freaky stuff like you and me.

This family owned and operated optical store also doubles as a tanning salon. It may be a little quirky to have an optician sharing space with shelves of tanning oils, but it is my number one choice for eyeglasses in my family.
Ben Combs and his wife are alway on hand to help you with eyeglass choices. And once you purchase your glasses there, you'll always be able to get a quick adjustment or help in an eyeglass emergency. They are the kindest couple and treat you like family.
The store is very plain and alot of people would turn and walk right out. But stop and look around - the frames are cheaper than WalMart! They have a great selection of kid's frames and designer eyeglasses. There is absolutely no pressure to upgrade to special lenses, etc. And Ben actually knows what he is doing.
Amazingly, you'll typically get your glasses the next day. There is no optomerist on site, so you'll need to bring in your prescription. Contact lenses are available and stocked as well.
I love Ben Combs optical for the personal service, laid back feel, great prices and good selection of frames. The added bonus is Ben - if you want to get the scoop on what's going in Weatherford, spend a hour or two with him picking out glasses.

Blockbuster is the first of these new fangled video rental stores. Apparently for a fraction of the price of purchasing a video you can "rent" a video for 3 days. There are too many videos to rent; I tried to take them all out at once as a cruel joke to other citizens trying to make use of this service but they only let you take out 6 new videos out at once and 12 old titles. But they are all new to me since I have never viewed a movie in my life...

Beall's is the only "department store" in Weatherford - if you are using the term loosely. All the typical departments are there, but the brands are mainly mid to lower end, with some Levi's, Hilfiger and Liz Claiborne thrown it. No makeup counter except for already put together sets of beauty products.
Beall's does have a very good selection of shoes which are often put on sale.
Beall's routinely discounts its merchandise, including sterling silver jewelry. If you are over 55, or can find someone that age to go with you, Beall's gives an extra 20% off. That's a big deal when silver hoop earrings are alread 1/2 price!
The store is packed with merchandise. The employees are super friendly. It's a very hometown shopping experience.
