Best

I have to say I was disappointed in reading the bad reviews about Dogma. I take my yorkie Isabelle to have her regular trim there and they are AMAZING.

Worst

Worst place ever! SEVERELY overpriced! My dog has been there a few times because I hadn't heard of any other dog salons..each time he goes there, he looks as if he is a shaved rat...

As a business owner I always appreciate constructive feedback as a means ot improving service to our clients, however this last review makes me question the motive of the reviewer and here is why. In order to write a review you need to be somewhat computer savvy, so why not "Google" alternate groomers in the area if you were so unhappy? There are plenty of other groomers in the area that you could have chosen to visit. And why come back a few times yet never ask to speak to me, the owner, to voice your complaint? I would have made every attempt to make you happy! My grooming staff is professional, experienced and highly skilled and they work very hard to make all of our clients happy. Shaving a dog is not an easy task for any groomer to undertake due to potential risk of injury taking clippers that close to a moving animal and is only done at the owner's request or in the unfortunate case where a pet has been so severely neglected that it is the only humane option. In these case more

Best groomers! 12/7/2009

I love taking our dogs (all 4!) to Dogma Salon. Everyone there could not be nicer or more helpful. The prices are reasonable and my "babies" love the colorful bandanas they put around their necks as a perfect finishing touch!! Pros: All the staff at Dogma give my dogs TLC more

DO NOT GO HERE! 11/22/2009

Worst place ever! SEVERELY overpriced! My dog has been there a few times because I hadn't heard of any other dog salons..each time he goes there, he looks as if he is a shaved rat! If I wanted to shave my dog, I could do that myself--and not charge $80! Moreover, everyone who sees my dog after the trip to Dogma comments on how BAD he looks. That is not a good sign! The staff does not listen and are unskilled. Please send your dog somewhere else! What a waste of money! more

Dogma Premier Dog Spa is great! 6/17/2009

The staff at Dogma are friendly and helpful. I have taken my wheaten terrier to them for grooming using a different groomer each time. She looked beautiful every time!! It's a wonderful place. more

Appears that management wrote the good review. Who agrees? 11/30/2008

It's funny - you can tell when a review is written by the management or staff of a company. They might as well sign their name. Not only does a bad review make me unlikely to frequent an establishment, but a good review written by management makes me even less likely to do so. more

Dogma is the Best Dog Spa for Grooming and Rehabilitation!! 11/27/2008

I don't know what planet the other reviewer lives on except to say that my dog is a frequent guest at Dogma and they employ the most caring and professional staff. Perhaps the "Chop Shop" review reflects poor dog ownership and maybe they should take the blame for their dog's coat being in such bad shape. I have seen people bringing dogs into the spa that are in horrible shape and tell the groomers they don't want them shaved. I have watched the groomers try to explain to the owner, that the most humane way to groom their dog without causing them pain and to avoid hurting skin is to start over and take their coat short. I know that first hand because that was me a year ago....I am thankful they put my dogs' wellbeing before my request to have a matted coat brushed out. I too was in denial thinking there was a quick fix to my neglect. Since then, they helped me with my dogs unruly coat and we are on a regular schedule so we can keep his hair long and his skin healthy. He gets so excited when we pull up to the spa and loves being there....and I love being there too! Pros: professional staff, friendly, clean, beautiful home like atmosphere Cons: I wish they had services for the owners too!! It's nicer than the spas I go to for myself!! more

Chop Shop 7/16/2008

Dogma Premier dog spa is a joke!! They employ lazy , unskilled groomers who seem to think they can do whatever they want without any consequences. Pros: NONE Cons: they promise a time and never stick to it...they do what they want NOT what you want. more
