How is it that no one told me about this place, that's so close to home? Fastachi calls itself "An Opera of Nuts," but it's also a Symphony of Chocolate. They do have all kinds of different nuts and nut mixes (like with dried fruits, etc). They're on the expensive side, but it's just an expensive product and their prices are reasonable for what the products are. They have chocolates imported from Belgium (like fresh praline types) as well as a wide variety of domestic and imported chocolates and other sweets and treats. They store is immaculately clean and a real pleasure to shop and browse. The staff is friendly and some sampling is possible if you ask. All I can say is "WOW" because there's nothing else around like this and with this much variety.

My experience with having repairs done at car dealerships has been just short of thievery. I own a SAAB, and I'm not your typical SAAB owner. I bought my car used and I don't have a lot of money. A lot of auto shops won't work on the car because of it's make, and moreso, you can't trust a lot of places to work on your car without ruining it. So, you're stuck with top notch dealership prices. Charles River Saab is contrary to that. I went in with a strange humming sound from my engine, and the next day I got a call telling me it was just the wiper motor for my headlights (which I don't think ever worked since I bought the car). They even took it for a test drive and assessed some of the other problem areas that I was concerned about. The next day I went in to pay for it all, and I was only charged with a half hour of labor. Their hourly rate is $120 an hour, so getting in and out of a dealership with an unwarrantied vehicle for $60 felt like a gift. I'll go back to these guys, they're people I can trust.

This is a great and friendly bank! If you're a senior citizen, they have all kinds of fee free services (and they have a 50+ club with monthly outings -- really great events at reasonable prices). The branch manager (and past branch managers) have been incredibly helpful and friendly -- they really go out of their way to help you. They recognize you and always say hello when you're in the branch. They are open late on Friday evenings and are open a few hours on Saturday mornings, so this is great. The bank is community oriented and even gives an annual award to a local nonprofit. The tellers are always friendly and helpful. This is a great bank! Member of the SUM network.

Inner Strength is an amazing place. They offer a number of yoga classes per day--it is vinyasa style yoga with a number of other influences, including Anusara technique. It is an incredible workout, but it is not your typical hot Power Yoga.
They also offer acupuncture, massage, and personal training. I have had acupuncture and shiatsu services, and have been amazed with the results. Their practitioners are very knowledgeable and professional. You walk out of a treatment feeling absolutely alive and energized.

Fendi Nails is the only place I go to for manicures and pedicures. I can always get an appointment, even for a fill, or just drop in; the staff are wonderful and their prices are very reasonable. I have sent several friends there and they have become regulars.

Russo’s is one of the best places in town to get fruits and veggies, as well as fresh cheeses, breads, and olives. It is a HUGE warehouse of produce, and full of things from every corner of the globe. Have you been searching for bitter melon or yucca? You can find them here! Their olive selection is phenomenal and they have a vast array of other goodies.
The produce is incredibly fresh and really very inexpensive. Red peppers are occasionally on sale for less than half what you’d spend a chain store.
While it is somewhat of a long drive from where I live, it is worth the trek every time. They have some really hard to find items and always have helpful and knowledgeable staff.
