this carter's store has great stuff at great prices! if you like carter's stuff this store has an amazing selection of boys and girls stuff for babies and kids. they also have small toys and all the accessories to build a great layette for yourself or as a gift. they have some areas of the store arranged by sets, so that you can get all the coordinating peices if you want. they also have a small play area for kids in the middle of the store while you shop! enjoy

I go to this store a couple times a year and STOCK UP! I usually find one or two key items and get multiple styles. My favorite article of clothing they carry is stretchy knit pants. My oldest daughter is tall and skinny and it's hard to find pants that fit her. My son is a little more rugged but they have clothes that fit him, too. And their prices are great! I won't spend $20 (or even $15) on something my kid will outgrow in a couple months and Children's Place seems to understand this!

I am all about supporting local businesses so when I happened upon Coolidge Hardware, I was thrilled. It is a small, homey hardware store that is not intimidating for a curious girl like me. I noticed they did leather repair and after being to about ten cobblers for my beloved Gucci purse that my adorable but naughty puppy chewed, I thought I would give them a try. The moment I entered, I was greeted with a frienly hello and asked how I could be helped. A nice gentlemen directed me to the back and I hesitantly asked if my baby Gucci could be fixed. Expecting a no, I was ready to leave but the older gentleman said it would be no problem and only charged me a measley $15. My purse was returned within a week and looked like new. Even though Home Depot might be cheaper, nothing beats small, friendly local businesses. (They also have a fantastic selection of quality paints that are unlike any other.) If you're in Watertown, stop in and support Coolidge Hardware, Inc.

How is it that no one told me about this place, that's so close to home? Fastachi calls itself "An Opera of Nuts," but it's also a Symphony of Chocolate. They do have all kinds of different nuts and nut mixes (like with dried fruits, etc). They're on the expensive side, but it's just an expensive product and their prices are reasonable for what the products are. They have chocolates imported from Belgium (like fresh praline types) as well as a wide variety of domestic and imported chocolates and other sweets and treats. They store is immaculately clean and a real pleasure to shop and browse. The staff is friendly and some sampling is possible if you ask. All I can say is "WOW" because there's nothing else around like this and with this much variety.
