I had one bad experience at Not Your Average Joe's (NYAJ) and 20 good ones. The food is tasty and the atmosphere is fun. When I did have a bad experience I filled out a comment card and sent it in. Shortly after, a personalized hand written apology was sent to me along with a $20 gift card. I appreciated the apology and will definitely give NYAJ another try. One of my favorites items on the menu is the Goat Cheese Salad. They also have a great bar and tons of creative cocktails. Its worth checking out.

Not Your Average Joe's in Watertown Square has a good ambiance and reasonably quick service ideal for a workday lunch. The food is consistently good quality, maybe a 3.5 out of 4 stars. Furthermore if your are health conscious the friendly waiters are patient and willing with any questions or special requests you might have to ensure healthy eating.

The service here is always terrific and attentive. The restaurant can get very crowded at night with long waits, and the parking lot can be a pain, but it's always a good experience (you can wait at the bar and order from their fun drink menu). One of the highlights of a trip to Joe's is the parmesan cheese with olive oil and pepper that goes along with their yummy bread (it's very hard not to fill up on the bread). Their iced tea is always fresh and delicious. The Devil's Tower dessert (chocolate cake with hot fudge and caramel and ice cream) really is decadent. The pizzas are always good, and they have great specials. The steak tips are very good, and if you supersize them you'll have a great lunch or even dinner the next day. Salads are good, too.
