This place can get insanely crowded -- and why not? Delicious food at a decent price and friendly service! Not a lot of breakfast options around town (why is that? breakfast is not so difficult). Good pancakes, eggs, french toast, etc. The service can be quite friendly (I took an elderly friend, and they were kind enough to let her order a children's meal). The portions are very generous, and everything is good., They have quirky hours, so check before going over there (tried to go for dinner once and was very disappointed). I don't drink coffee, but friends have said it's excellent. Lots of baked goods and fun stuff. Be warned if you're going to try to go for brunch on a weekend, you might have a long wait (during the workday it's not too bad, though I hear it's very busy in the morning).

On my first visit my friend and I ordered lattes, and they arrived in the largest mugs I've ever seen, the size of a bowl of soup. We have referred to it ever since as the place to meet for a bowl of coffee, and I highly recommend the "milky way" latte. Breakfast is delicious and very reasonably priced; the lunch menu has expanded since it first opened, and is also very good. It fills up quickly on the weekends, so come early. Outside seating is available.
