Russo’s is one of the best places in town to get fruits and veggies, as well as fresh cheeses, breads, and olives. It is a HUGE warehouse of produce, and full of things from every corner of the globe. Have you been searching for bitter melon or yucca? You can find them here! Their olive selection is phenomenal and they have a vast array of other goodies. The produce is incredibly fresh and really very inexpensive. Red peppers are occasionally on sale for less than half what you’d spend a chain store. While it is somewhat of a long drive from where I live, it is worth the trek every time. They have some really hard to find items and always have helpful and knowledgeable staff.
