I went there on a first date because it was in between our apartments. The place was so casual and relaxing, we did not have to worry about those awkard first date moments. The bartenders were friendly and accomodating, and talked to each of to make us feel welcome. We both said it felt more like being at a friend's house than at a bar. - and the food was great too.

I love the Aegean - I used to go to the one in Framingham all the time, and I was very happy to see the restaurant in Watertown. The food is wonderful - both lunch and dinner choices are generous and very reasonably priced. They offer olive oil with feta cheese and fresh pita when you are seated, and I could be very happy with just that. Salads are very fresh and the fish is excellent. I have a friend who works nearby, and she recommends getting there early for lunch - parking is limited and the restaurant fills up quickly.

This place never ceases to amaze me. I've had Shawarmas all over Europe and the U.S. and nothing has compared to this one. It's tahini sauce is a powerful escape for the taste buds. The chickens are flavorful and have excellent texture. The kebabs are moist and perfectly spiced. While the baba-ganoush was nothing to write home about they do have excellent hummus and grape leaves. Just trust me, don't let the somewhat dry decor throw you off, the food and bargain is worth it.

Great small Middle Eastern grocery store. Full of all the items you might need, baked goods, bread, hummus, fruit, veggies. Bake fresh pastries every day, including lahm bil ajeen, zatar, and muhammarra. I tried the lahm bil ajeen and it was ok, not very flavorful. They have the best and freshest persian bread. Yum!

This is a good place to unwind after a frustrating trip to Home Depot, which is right next door. The wait can be long here, but the waiting area is comfortable, and since the restaurant is so big the wait is often not as long as you might think. Plenty of garage parking, but you might have to go up a few floors. The steaks are very good, as are the salads and the sides. Kids really like the talking moose and the decorations -- it's a fun, family environment. The prices are pretty much what would be expected for this type of restaurant, as are the menu selections.
