I dined at Yanni's the other day,and was impressed. The lamb gyro was very tender and I loved all the free bread that kept coming to the table. Nice spot to visit in Cleveland Park!

I’ve dined at Yanni’s a handful of times and have been consistently impressed. The service has been friendly and the food has been great. They know how to cook chicken and lamb perfectly—in gyros, on a salad, or as the main attraction. Their appetizers are consistently good, and if you’re feeling too cheap for appetizers, they’ll keep the free bread coming. My only disappointment has been the squid, which was even more rubbery than expected and seemingly flavorless. The Greek lasagna is hit or miss—once I ordered it and found it incredible, another time I found it dry, as if it had been baked days ago and reheated too many times.
