We had a layaway and had made payments on it. Went back in 2 weeks to make another payment the business had closed, called all other locations to find out that the phones had been disconnected. No phone calls or warnings that the business was going to close or anything. Now we have to go through the pain of getting in touch with someone about getting our money back.

Don't be fooled that this restaurant has a nice ad in the DC-Metro area map. The restaurant's food is far from tasty. From the dried up cheese-wontons to the chewey lo-mein, it just was not good. Also, the bathroom was directly next to the buffet.

I love trying new food, so I was very excited to try Moroccan food. I went with a group of about 12 for a birthday party. We did the $30 family style menu which seemed like a good way to go at first, but as it turned out, it wasn’t. The first course was a soup that tasted and looked like it came from a can, I’m nearly positive it did. Next, our salads weren't bad, just a simple garden salad. For our entrees we had a chicken dish and lamb. The chicken tasted good, but was cold. I usually love lamb, but this was horribly dry, overcooked, cold (again) and bland. To top off the evening was a dessert tray of the stalest cookies that could be found from a box at the dollar store, worse than cheap fortune cookies. Overall, the food was a huge letdown. As I mention latter, even though we had lots of time between courses, I found myself asking why I’m still picking at the food since it just wasn’t good. Mostly since it was the only thing to eat and I was still hungry I guess.
The other problem with Marrakesh was that the service was very slow and poor at communicating. While the staff was probably Moroccan, making the experience more authentic, nobody exhibited much personality, they seemed afraid to talk to the table, water glasses weren’t refilled, and we were constantly wondering when we’d see our waiter with our food or to check in with us.
Our group did have a nice evening, but that was mostly because we were all having fun around each other. The atmosphere could be good for parties, but I would never recommend Marrakesh in Washington DC to anyone. Save yourself a bad experience, I wish we had.
Pros: Fun & authentic atmosphere
Cons: Food was tasteless and stale and overprices as well

I have been to many Italian restaurants in my life, and none compare to Aria Restaurant in Washington, DC. That is because Aria is the absolute WORST restaurant I have ever been to, much less the worst Italian restaurant I've ever been to.
The staff is rude, thinking that they are trendy and just better than their customers. The restaurant is poorly laid out-- Who puts a round table against a wall? We were very, very uncomfortable because of the people and the surroundings. There is just no ambiance here.
The food is awful. Period. We ordered a cheese plate, which arriced absolutely COVERED in honey. It was gross. The main courses weren't that great, either. We couldn't get out of there fast enough.
If you're looking for a good Italian restaurant in Washington DC, look a little further.

quite possably the worst customer service ever- the girl would not get off the phone (obviously a personal call) to help us, other worker did not know that Michigan was a state, refused to tell us where the nearest diesal gas station was, resulting in a fueling charge becasue literally NO WHERE (went to at leat 5 stations) in the area sold diesal.

We have been coming here for over ten years, and have steadily watched a decline in the service and quality from our early visits. The pasta sauce was once thick and delicious but now it's thin and watery, and there was very little of it on my pasta. My friend ordered linguini with clam sauce but the chopped clams were miniscule and tasted as if they came out of a can. My eggplant dish was also very disappointing, being watery and it clearly had been frozen at one time. Another night, I ordered mussels and several of them were closed. They no longer have the antipasta bar that we enjoyed so much.
This saddens us because this could be such a fabulous place to eat. It's a lovely building and in a terrific location.
The only reason we have come back from time to time is in the hopes it would return to its once better days, but that doesn't seem to happening. We are very reluctant to ever return even though we live nearby.

Go take a look at the Boconcept reputation, Ask anyone who purchased from them in the past 5 years, or talk to any of their current customers like me.
Boconcept or Bo Concept (read: "No Concept") is by far the worst company to deal with i have ever come across in my life. Crappiest products, looks great on the showroom floor, feels like cardboard when you get it home, customer service people treat you like you you owe them something, not anything like they should and the management in the new jersey corporate office would be better off running a circus or managing a pig farm.

The food took way too long to prepare and come out.
It wasn't that expensive, but I still wouldn't recommend it.

I had ordered an arrangement for my mother's birthday and included a chochlate- the choclate was not included though I was charged for it. Repeated phone calls were made and I was told that it will be delivered the same day. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. I called the next day and the same lady was rude refused to say she was sorry for the mistake and non chalantly said she will check to see what happened and there was nothing more she could do. All the claims on the website aboutprofessional staff and going the extra mile for their customers is rubbish. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST
