We loved this restaurant for the uniqueness of the menu. Don't come here looking for a huge meal that will fill you up though. Instead you find unique salads, unusual pizza toppings and really good pizza dough. You can find children happily eating here while other people are eating romantically as couples. We liked trying the specials of the day and the most interesting thing we ate was the grapefruit mousse! Tom Sietsma (Washington Post) rates this a 4 star and we can now see why...

Two Amy’s is, hands down, the best DC in the area. The pizza is what you should come here for. It’s fresh, it’s authentic, and it just blows every other mediocre pizza (pizza paradiso, I’m talking about you) out of the water! I’d skip the desserts and cheese though-- the pizza is where its at.

Almost every DC-area resident will complain that there's no good pizza, but Two Amys is the exception. Aside from appetizers and some specials, the menu is almost entirely pizza but there are lots of options and it always comes out crispy and fresh and not too greasy. Everything is big enough to share, so it's a good (3rd or 4th) date place. There's also a full wine list with some great selections.

Two Amys is crowded and noisy, but you'll find some of the most authentic pizza in DC. Interesting and fresh ingredients make a difference, as of course does quality pizza dough! The menu offers pizzas, pastas and sandwiches, along with an Italian wine list. The noise level is a factor, as it's family-friendly, but you can always get your pizza to go.

Washington DC may not have the pizza-by-the-slice parlors like they have in New York City but it makes up for this by having some of the best darn pizza this side of the Atlantic. Two Amys is an absolutely amazing pizza restaurant just north of Glover Park and across from the Cathedral. The pizzas are all prepared fresh and traditional in the correct Italian way. Their appetizers such as roasted olives and many cheeses and meats are simple and delicious. They don't take reservations so be prepared to wait on any night including weekdays. For especially long waits you many want to leave your name get a drink across the street since their bar area is small and gets too crowded to move.

Two Amy's has some of the best pizza in the area. THis is not your normal Domino's factory, but a real place with chefs and the like. Italian pizza with a twist. The mozzarella is excellent. Two Amy's alwasy has a wait though, so get there early, especially if you want to grab a seat by the fireplace. Only problem-- tables can get cramped.
