Nice place to dine. The cornbread and peach butter is DELICIOUS! The portions are large. The noise volume was a little high but tolerable.

Hubby & I had dinner at Georgia Browns and it was terrific. The southern fried chicken was out of this world. We had to wait for a table but it was worth it. Highly recommend to anyone in DC area.

OMG, the brunch is AWESOME! I was treated here for my birthday and even though it's $35/plate for the brunch, it's worth it because the buffet is course 1 and you can eat all you want while in the restaurant. Course 2 is what you order off of the menu and can take home with you. Course 3 is the brunch bakery, which has a chocolate fountain and dozens of other desserts! You do have to pay for your drinks though. The Georgia Peach cocktail is divine, but $11. Not for the short of wallet.

Georgia Brown is a restaurant that is a definite must for first time visitors and locals alike. It's beautiful decor sets the stage for palette pleasing food. I went for brunch this past Sunday. We enjoyed the great jazz band that was playing. We enjoyed the food and the service. The brunch has a unique element, in that you have essentially three all you can eat buffet stations and then you are able to order one item off the menu made to order. We ordered the gumbo and the catfish (to go) because we couldn't eat another bite. The food is very good... however the buffet lacks a wide variety of choices. But for me, the french toast made up for anything it lacked. The french toast is superb! The cost is 29.99 per person and that does not include a beverage.
PROS: Quality food, great atmosphere, omelette station
CONS: lack of variety, parking can be tricky, a little pricey
