Visiting a jewelry store can be intimidating, but I had a very pleasant experience when I went to look at wedding rings at Boone and Sons. The saleslady listened to all my specifications and showed me rings that were within my price range without any pressure to purchase one that was more expensive. I very much recommend this store, especially for the inexperienced jewelry shopper.

This is another great jewelry store. The selection at this store is pretty good. You might not find as many unique as you would at some other stores, but there is a great selection. I'm not sure, but I think the selection is different at the other locations (in Tyson's and Chevy Chase locations). I like the Chevy Chase location more than the downtown location, but not for any really concrete reasons. The Chevy Chase location seems to have a bigger selection. I would also say that it has been my experience that the prices at the various locations differ so you might be able to get a better price at a different location, although this may not always be the case. In any event, I would recommend you check this place out, but also shop around since there are a lot of good jewelry shops in the area and some may offer better prices.
