I was a member for this gym on L street for several years. Even with the very hard and high pressure sell and the lack of clean bathrooms, it was the only gym in the area at the time before the Sports Club LA. And the price was right for a recent college graduate. The problem came when I left the gym. I first received letters offering me the opportunity to come back to the gym, which I asked them to stop sending me. Some of the letters were very deceptive and looked like I still owed them money - in a bill format. These notices even followed me to my next address, heaven knows how they got it. Just based on this experience I would not recommend joining in the first place. Check out the many websites by people who had worse experiences than I did.
